Historia
Tabitha Romanov lives on the River Thames in the heart of London on a rundown grain barge. Music and fun drives her, and her unique vocal style doesn't go unnoticed by the scouts of London Harmony when they run across her by chance at an underground rave. Teresa McClellan is a consummately professional business woman who is the headmistress at a Music Conservatoire.

pleasantly surprised
Revisado: 06-06-20
I've heard and enjoyed Allyson Voller narrate other Schubach books and she's a really good narrator. I honestly wasn't even sure he would put London Harmony on audio what with the age of the series and the broad variety of accents the series has. I am happy to say that Tabby Cat was voiced about as accurately as can be done with it's complex influences and Allyson's British holds up just fine. I was a little distracted for the first few minutes while adjusted to Tabby's accent but after that I was all in. The story is great even after reading it a dozen times and I'm so happy to see it make it's way to audiobook. Hopefully more will come out in the future as Mr Schubach is able.

Historia
Teresa Barrera has finally moved back home after running away when she was 15. Things are better for her than they were then. She's out as a trans lesbian, has a good job, and is in the promising start of a new relationship. To top it all off, she's back in contact with her sister, who has completely accepted her. She's not ready to tell the rest of her family, but that's okay.

very good
Revisado: 04-02-20
As a transgender woman and lesbian I have to say I love seeing more representation for people like me. On top of that this series has been wonderful for representation all around. The story is excellent, difficult subjects are handled well and the narration is top notch. This will definitely be on my list of frequently re-read books.

Revisado: 11-06-19
That was a beautiful story. I really needed a story like this in my life. Happy, sexy, serious, silly, sad. Enough happy, sexy, and silly to make dealing with the serious and sad worth it and leave me smiling and giggling more often than not. TJ Richards did an amazing job as always. I could easily differentiate who was speaking at any given time, her voice is pleasant to listen to, and her pacing is on point.

Historia
My name is Rachel. I’m straight... I think. I also have a mountain of student loans and a smart mouth. I wasn’t serious when I told Pari Sadashiv I’d marry her. It was only party banter! Except Pari needs a green card, and she’s willing to give me a breather from drowning in debt. My off-the-cuff idea might not be so terrible. We get along as friends. She’s really romantically cautious, which I find heartbreaking. She deserves someone to laugh with. She’s kind. And calm. And gorgeous. A couple of years with her actually sounds pretty good.

Revisado: 03-16-19
i've read this book so many times and I love it so much! I'm so glad that it's finally come to audible. this is one of those books that I was both scared and excited to see in audio because a good narrator can really bring it to life but a bad one could ruin it. there are a lot of challenges for a narrator any time that cultures intersect and I think Jill Smith did an absolutely wonderful job with it. she has really good emotional range and she pulled off the Indian accents believably. thank you so much Lorelie Brown for writing this book and thank you Jill Smith for bringing a favorite to life.

Historia
Amber LaLanie burst upon the music scene a decade ago like a ball of fun energy. Her "live for the day" attitude has hid her insecurity and extreme loneliness in the sea of people around her. Then she met a production intern, Kylee, who has a way of drawing out the real Amber that lies within. This is set in the same world as Music of the Soul but is a standalone book.

What can I say? I've read this book a half dozen times before the audio book came out and I'll listen to it a half dozen more at least now that Hollie can read it to me. I love Amber and Kylie's relationship and how they interact with each other and help each other be better people. I also adore Hollies voice and I'm glad to have another lesbian romance with her narrating. I love how she can do so many characters and switch back and forth so seamlessly. I highly recommend any books by Erik Schubach and anything read by Hollie.

First time I saw her was in the mirror on my locker door. I'd kicked my swim gear onto the bottom shelf and was reaching to the top for my calc book when she opened her locker across the hall. She had a streaked blonde ponytail dangling out the back of her baseball cap.... We slammed our lockers in unison and turned. Her eyes met mine. "Hi," she said, smiling. My stomach fluttered. "Hi," I answered automatically. She was new. Had to be. I would've noticed her. She sauntered away, but not before I caught a glimpse of her T-shirt. It said: IMRU? Am I what?

Enjoyed a lot
Revisado: 01-11-17
Some of the reviews had me a little scared to listen to this book but I thought the reader did an excellent job. I docked a star off just because the ending was a little abrupt. Happyish but kind of sudden. There was supposed to be an abusive relationship ship and sure it wasn't the best start for a relationship but they talked it out and everything was fine between them.

Such a cool concept!
Revisado: 07-22-16
Mr Schubach has a very particular style and many of his characters can be a little too similar at times but I absolutely adore them all the same. This is a pleasant change from the Music of the Soul series and different from the Fairytale series and I love the concept and characters. I think I'm pretty much in love with Hollie Jackson. She has a great voice and she always nails the characters. I can (and have) listen to her voice all day. All in all I smiled alot and that's what I hope for when I pick up one of Erik Schubachs books.

Revisado: 07-04-16
I've read this like 10 times. I love it every single time. Erik and Hollie team up to make an experience that is truly unforgettable for me. The characters are cute, strong, talented, and generous. I laughed, cried, and loved right a long side these two wonderful women and I will do so again and again into the future. If for no other reason than to hear Hollie reading Skylars adorable line when she realizes that she has a girlfriend and that means she just might be gay.

Great story but rushed reading
Revisado: 06-21-16
The story was fantastic. Par for the course in my limited experience of Chris Anne Wolfe books. The reader has a great voice but she sounded rushed the whole time. She stayed fairly monotone and it felt like she never took a breath. For such a slow building love story it just felt out of place. I would love to hear her do another slower take and I would love to hear some of the other books she has narrated... hopefully at a slower pace. I highly recommend this book despite that as the story really is fantastic.
