Historia
The Earth has been torn apart. Everyone is either human or Hater, victim or killer. Major cities have become vast refugee camps where human survivors cower together in fear. Amidst this indiscriminate fighting and killing, Danny McCoyne is on a mission to find his daughter, Ellis. Free of inhibitions, unrestricted by memories of the previous world, and driven by instinct, children are pure Haters and might well be the deciding factor in the future of the Hater race.

Good book but the first was better
Revisado: 12-28-11
After reading Hater, I found myself wondering where the author could possibly take this story and I was very excited for the sequel. I'm not sure if it was the narrator or just the story, but I struggled to finish the book.

A Self Help Book For You AND Your Dog
Revisado: 12-28-11
Cesar's words inspire you to be calm and assertive in every aspect of your life, not just when working with dogs. Starting from his childhood in Mexico, he tells his story how he came to be the man he is today and thanks all the kind people who helped him along the way. Not only does this allow you to get to know Cesar on a new level, but it lets you know that kindness does still exist in our world. This was an excellent book. That being said, it could use a different narrator. I had a hard time getting into the story due to the narrator's monotone, boring way of reading the book. However, once I got a few chapters in, the story had me hooked and I was able to finish it.

Historia
FOR RENT: Top two floors of beautifully renovated brownstone, 1300 sq. ft., 2BR 2BA, eat-in kitchen, one block to parks and playgrounds. No broker's fee. Susan and Alex Wendt have found their dream apartment. Sure, the landlady is a little eccentric. And the elderly handyman drops some cryptic remarks about the basement. But the rent is so low, it's too good to pass up. Big mistake.

Not too shabby
Revisado: 12-28-11
It was a pretty enjoyable book to listen to. The performance was great. The story kind of lost me towards to the end. The bedbugs were real then or was she just imagining them? The ending was a little weird but overall the book was pretty good. As if bedbugs weren't creepy enough....

The New York Times best-selling novel from Garth Stein - a heart-wrenching but deeply funny and ultimately uplifting story of family, love, loyalty, and hope - a captivating look at the wonders and absurdities of human life...as only a dog could tell it.

This book was amazing! It was well written, had a GREAT story and the narrator was PERFECT for the part. Highly recommend this to not only dog fans, but anyone who knows what it's like to be underestimated.
