It's not "pes-chew-lence"!!

Loved the story. I don't say this about many books, but I wish it was longer. I need more of Pestilence's background!

The narrator was great except for how she pronounces "pestilence". And unfortunately, the word appears 3 million times in the book. So it was very cringe to me.

Looking forward to the next book; hard to mispronounce War.

amazing performance

What a magical and beautiful conclusion to this trilogy. I was worried I wouldn't feel as invested in Blythe and Fate as I was with Signa and Death, but I was proven wrong by the tears streaming down my face in the last few chapters. Bravo, Adalyn. I am a forever fan of yours.

I wasn't thrilled with the way the first 60% of the book felt like a diary entry, but it finally felt more like a novel in the second halfish of the book. The narration was great.

5 POVs and still lots to uncover

I enjoyed this story of an ordinary girl who finds herself entangled with 4 gods and a corrupt king. We get the POV from all 4 gods as well as Isla, and while there is certainly a lot of character development, there's so much history of the 4 elementals that you don't know about. This book ends on a cliffhanger and I'm excited to listen to Forever Reign. The narrators did a great job with the changes in subtlety between characters.

a swoon worthy story for the ages

Zura and Zachary knock it out of the park again! They put so much emotion into their performances, and it can literally bring tears to your eyes and a smile to your face. I love a good fated mates story, and this was no exception.

This was one of the best audiobooks I've ever listened to. Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers are phenomenal. I was laughing out loud almost the entire time.

One of the best audiobooks I've listened to

Dual narration is legit the best way to listen to an audiobook. Zura and Zachary brought this story to life. And while the story itself is good, I'm not sure I would have liked it as much if I just read it. A Cursed Heart is just as great and I'm looking forward to A Cursed Love later this year!

Looking forward to book 2

After a bad date, 18-year-old Adrienne falls into the ocean and finds herself back in time in ancient Greece. As she tries to figure out what happened and how to get back home, she slowly becomes more comfortable with her surroundings by learning the language, how to shoot a bow and arrow, and catching the eye of several suitors. Adrienne is given an opportunity to find The Oracle and possibly a way back to the 21st century. But does she really want to leave?

I really enjoyed the Greek history and mythology in this book. The main character using the terms "racist" and "bigot" really took me out of the moment, but the rest of the story flowed pretty well. Only one really spicy scene; I'm hoping for more in the next book!
