In 1931, Edgar Cayce agreed to help a group of people grow spiritually and become more psychic, with one condition: They would have to live the precepts. It took the group 11 years to apply and compile the 24 lessons that became A Search for God, Books I and II. This material has helped individuals and groups around the world to discover a closer attunement to God.

Historia
Life is a completely lawful experience because of the universal laws of reincarnation and karma that draw individuals together. Rather than being some type of unavoidable destiny or a fate about which we can do very little, the Edgar Cayce material instead sees karma as essentially an unconscious reservoir of information stored within the soul's memory.

Historia
It is well documented that our health-care system has grave problems, but how, in only a matter of decades, did things get this bad? Dr. Elisabeth Rosenthal doesn't just explain the symptoms; she diagnoses and treats the disease itself. Rosenthal spells out in clear and practical terms exactly how to decode medical doublespeak, avoid the pitfalls of the pharmaceuticals racket, and get the care you and your family deserve. She takes you inside the doctor-patient relationship, explaining step by step the workings of a profession sorely lacking transparency.

Brilliant and enticing

I wish this book was required reading for all college students entering into health care fields. It’s full of wisdom and written in such a way that I felt like I was reading a top selling novel. The system is so corrupt but this book takes the reader to the first step: awareness of the problem.
My favorite book of 2017

Historia
In this book, we travel inside Emily's and Paul's brains as they attempt to sort the vast quantities of information they're presented with, figure out how to prioritize it, organize it, and act on it. Fortunately for Emily and Paul, they're in good hands: David Rock knows how the brain works - and more specifically, how it works in a work setting. Rock shows how it's possible for Emily and Paul, and thus the listener, not only to survive in today's overwhelming work environment but succeed in it - and still feel energized and accomplished at the end of the day.

brilliant-a must read
Revisado: 09-16-13
Of the 2 dozen or so books on neuro-plasticity and neuro-psychology I've read, this book tops them all. The way it's written and read make it easy to visualize the concepts and put them into motion in day to day life. It makes the subject matter comprehensible to any audience; not just those with medical backgrounds.
