The author did an admirable job of taking extraordinarily complex concepts and putting them in a layperson’s understanding. I found the details unnecessarily titillating; the description of private thoughts and actions made me doubt the veracity of the narrative.

Accidental Pleasure

I saw a friend of mine reading this book and he was enjoying it immensely. I downloaded the book based upon that singular review and was likewise pleased with the book. I especially enjoyed having a better understanding of the decisions surrounding the atomic bomb and the Potsdam conference. The Accidental President was an accidental pleasure and one I highly recommend.
