I listen to a lot of books and this one has it all. Military, science fiction, intrigue, and a fantastic story all the way around. Couldn’t stop listening, so enjoy Mr. Grumley’s book I know I did.

Historia
In 1895, two young men destined to make their mark on American life, Theodore Roosevelt and Henry Cabot Lodge, discovered they shared a common interest in the remarkable way ordinary Americans demonstrated the real character of the young nation. They were convinced that the brilliance of American liberty could best be found in the lives of everyday people, rather than in accounts of the famous and powerful.

Historia
In the early 18th century, the Pirate Republic was home to some of the great pirate captains, including Blackbeard, "Black Sam" Bellamy, and Charles Vane. Along with their fellow pirates - former sailors, indentured servants, and runaway slaves - this "Flying Gang" established a crude but distinctive democracy in the Bahamas, carving out their own zone of freedom in which servants were free, Blacks could be equal citizens, and leaders were chosen or deposed by a vote.

Great Werewolf Tale
Revisado: 08-10-22
As most of the reviews said this is a funny, sad and scary audible story. Ray Porter as the narrator makes it even better with his dry sense of talking and his sense of individual character. Enjoy, it’s a quick and fun listen.

Historia
This wasn’t the plan. Judge Herman Calvert, 88, never thought he’d outlive his beloved wife, Marie. Yet now he finds himself alone, a grieving widower, desperate for escape from the home they built together, where every turn brings a painful reminder of his late wife. So the judge retreats to his lake cabin in rural Wisconsin, a place where an old man can find peace and solitude. A place where nature can take its course. But something new has moved in.

Revisado: 07-23-21
As someone who listens to a lot of audible books I stumbled upon Grady Hendrix by accident and first listened to Horrorstor which was great. Being a heavy metal lover I decided to give this a try and absolutely loved it. The music references, the story, the characters and the narration was spot on. Might not be for everyone but this old rocker and horror fan loved it.

Great Listen!!!
Revisado: 06-11-21
I have listened to other books with background music and sound affects and was immediately turned off by it. Not this one, the music was perfect and the sound affects took nothing away from this thriller. Put in the family aspect along with the plot and a great listen from start to finish. Enjoy!!
