Made me chuckle over and over!

This was so much fun! Although it is for young readers, it has the craft, dialog and surprises that will entertain all but the most staunch curmudgeon! I will be checking out everything else that Richard Roberts has done. Also, the narration was perfect! What great expression, and the villainous laughs cracked me up every time!

I often listen to books to settle me down and help me sleep...This will be one I listen to over and over.

No psycho killers or over-the-top evil gore

If you are looking for special victims unit over-the-top evil, you will hate this book. This book keeps you engaged and although I was seriously annoyed by one of the characters at first, the authors allow the characters to grow, develop, and even become people you like. Just a good story with a fun amount of violence and adventure. Nothing to creep you out.

Narration is superb and is no small part of making this a fun listen. Stefan Rudniki is one of the greats.

This is my least favorite of the three, but I still like it a lot! I am really sorry that Mr. Daley never wrote more of these. The characters take on a great deal more depth in this story, and there are some truly original ideas and situations to experience.

Would love to get my hands on a Brawley and those Pathfinder boots :)

Would you listen to Kenobi again? Why?

Got to admit I really enjoyed this book! Written with a little more mature voice than some of the Star Wars books. And the narrator did an excellent job, with good characterizations and great voice.

Can't wait for the other two to make their way to Audible! This story is the perfect buddy adventure. If you have every had a wingman you could trust and would do anything for, then you will see echoes of it in this story. I totally disagree with the fellow who thought it seemed dated. Actually the technology has held up amazingly, considering how old these books actually are.

The narrator has a great voice, but the voices he chose for Alacrity and Hobart don't really work for me. A little nasal and better suited to a Raymond Chandler character, but not so bad that I didn't enjoy the book.

Light and Charming

Would you listen to A Pint of Murder again? Why?

I was looking for something light and diverting and this fit the bill perfectly. It has a kind of whispy innocence to it.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

No great surprises in it, but just enough twist so you don't feel cheated.

Amazingly Funny---full of southern charm and humor

My wife and I have enjoyed listening to this together...lots of fun. It is good to look with good natured humor at what makes men, men and women, women. The recipies sounds good too! Not so sure the financial planning aspects are all that helpful tho. Check your frowns at the door.
