It feels like it's from the 60s.It's funny but it is a little dated and I looked at the time that it was published and 1999 And I was like that's why it feels old. It's 2024

he asks for consent

during the beginning of the story he's a little fly with the consent but later on he basically tells her what he's going to do and tells her to repeat it and ask for her consent which I love now here's the problem there's some serious miscommunication in this book because he's an alien and she's human as well as the fact that I simply find the friends annoying

except it's less funny and makes less sense this character is pretty annoying not going to lie she gets kind of annoying in the end of the book like right towards the end before it ends you don't like her but it is funny and entertaining

it's like a mix between underworld and blade

if you're expecting something deep this isn't for you if you want something that's entertaining and funny and reminds you of the '90s movies that's a little cheesy this is it I legit thought the character might die it kept me on the edge of my seat because I was excited to see what was going to happen that's a good book

some characters are kind of annoying

the angel cries too much and is a bad guardian angel that's been established she's bad at her job Kevin is annoying has no respect for Lloyd as just a person and honestly if I was Lord I would have kicked Kevin the f*** out or sprayed him but outside of some of the characters being extremely annoying it's a funny book I've enjoyed the series so far although I don't know if I will purchase any of the other books going forward

I like it quite a bit this book is linked to another book narrated and written by the same author I have that book in my library but I don't really like it but this one I love and I recently checked Kindle and there's a second book coming out and it's $6 I put it in my waitlist

because if you are and you like that story you probably will like this one as well it has a nice narrator he has a good voice I like a lot of stuff he voices. the issue is the main character is obsessed with his dick not just obsessed every other sentence in this book contains him getting hard or him exposing it to somebody or him ogling some woman to the point that it takes up a large majority of the story like take all the my penis is getting hard and my God she has a very nice tits out and you have yourself a good story there is one redeeming feature and it's a fact that the women in the story are just as horny as the man

I like these stories but my thing is certain logic doesn't exist any stories for instance if a mother found her kid no matter how lazy passed out on the floor with a bruise on his head she'd ask are you okay everyone becomes incompetent around him when he's trying to fix stuff and it's annoying cuz this happened in the previous book too he was trying to say something and everybody ignored him when someone stuttering and panicked you calm them down and listen that's logic you don't just write them off that's what all of these characters do to him you can be lazy and still be saying valid things and also what's wrong with being depressed after you got killed by a ghost and had to fight death he was lazy before but you can understand why he got more lazy it's like everyone around him makes his life more difficult and then blames him for it admittedly he does cost some of his problems obviously or we wouldn't have a story but still

I haven't read the other two but if you look at other reviews there seems to be a common theme of the first story sucks they are correct oh my God it is so annoying he is f****** useless and he's like get behind me I'll protect you shut up your weaker than her you're protecting nobody
