I have been burning through the series and had the usual sense of foreboding as one enters the last currently available book. I was ready for the laughs that Jason would bring me, as our humour is painfully aligned, but I was not prepared for the amount of crying that was awaiting me.

Mr Miller brings these characters to glorious life, which makes emotional entanglement FAR too easy.

A great ride and I look forward to what lies ahead.

Wow. I can't believe I finished it.

This is the first time I've given such a low rating. I was expecting dated material, but this was painful. It was made all the worse by a performance that was beneath even a mediocre community theater's level of competence. Simply abysmal.

Funny and informative

A fun ride that pairs a number of useful tips for would-be writers with fun side trips into some delightful short stories. Based on the tips I am sure it was an ideal mechanism for releasing an accumulation of great work that was too good to let languish and too small to release each on their own. I am quite pleased that Drew found a way to deliver all of these glorious nuggets to his readers.

Kirby's narration was amazing, as always, and proves he is a credit to his craft.

Another excellent journey!

I was enthralled with the latest adventures of Derek Strongarm, Felix Lightfoot, and all their friends. I have been waiting for this installment and consumed it voraciously. I found the second half of the book especially impactful given the restrictions we have had to live under through 2020 and well into 2021. This audiobook coming out now has allowed our hardy adventurers to be some of the first friends we get to welcome back into our lives as we strive to move back to something resembling normal.

Kudos to our wonderfully talented narrator, and author, for giving us more light to help guide us through the darkness.

Another excellent journey!

I am so happy that the 3rd audio installment has arrived. This was another thrilling ride with Derek, Felix, Erika, Winifred, and David. I'm attached enough to the characters to hope they finally get the big payday they deserve and selfish enough to hope they get just enough to keep going.

Another fine tale from Mr. Bailey, elevated with the consistently awe-inspiring delivery from Ms. Auden.

Now, excuse me while I go relisten to the full series, to date, and eagerly begin my wait for the next installment.

Thoroughly entertaining

This was a fun romp starting us on what I hope is a long journey through the fantasy world of Ne'lan. The characters are fun and relatable, especially if you've ever played an rpg. The narration is smooth, exciting and done with impeccable timing and panache. I've listened to this several times and it is always fun.

Kudos to Michael C. Bailey on writing an excellent book and Heather S Auden for bringing it to life for us here. I am happy to share this with everyone I know that enjoys the fantasy genre or any rpg.
