Viola shared alot of personal trials and tribulations from childhood to present day. It takes courage and boldness to allow yourself that vulnerability. I can definitely relate to her struggles dealing with race in particularly, but the key is she never gave up and now look where she is. It took awhile but again she is on top. Inspiring story.

Normally I am pleasantly overwhelmed with the information received or points made in a Dr. West reading, but this time, though I liked the book, I did not find it as easy to follow, nor did it captivate my attention the way some of his other books have. It's still a good read and as always I took valuable information and perspective from it.

Riveting

This may be the best audio book or book period I have read. Trevor was able to tell what really should be seen as some very dark life experiences in an almost comical way but still conveyed the seriousness of many situations. He is clever, relatable, and a natural at this. I agree with a lot of his view points and have shared some similar situations not all that he had but my own. He is a true artist and blessed with talent. Would love to see if he follows tthus work of art up with another read in the future.
