As with all his literary works, Carl Sagan delivers a narrative that is stirring as it is informative. The reader enunciates beautifully, and his tonal inflection is conversational, and well thought.

I expected to be educated on topics omitted from my public school textbooks, but the depth to which Mr. Hancock has researched is most impressive! Not all educators are talented in both research and presentation, but again, this is a display of pure excellence! The otherwise dry facts are presented in a jaw clenching, edge of your seat narrative that I could listen to again and again!

I love all his books so far

I feel deprived to have waited until in my adult life to have experienced the vast collection of ideas and knowledge accumulated by Sitchin in this series of books. Why were these readings not, at least, suggested by my teachers while studying world history in high school?
As for the performance, Stephen Bel Davies is a consummate artist. His dialogue is that of a slightly gossiping conversationalist, making what could have been a dry listening experience, instead, one that I have eagerly absorbed. Highly recommended

Miyamoto Musashi (1584 - 1645) was arguably the greatest swordsman who ever lived, a legendary figure whose methods of thought and strategy have been studied and adopted across a wide spectrum of society, from martial artists to military leaders to captains of industry. The iconic sword saint of Japan was clearly a genius, yet he was also a functional psychopath - ruthless, fearless, hyper-focused, and utterly without conscience. Shortly before he died, Musashi wrote down his final thoughts about life for his favorite student Terao Magonojo to whom Go Rin No Sho, his famous Book of Five Rings, had also been dedicated.

This has to be the worst “ interpretation “ of Musashi’s work I’ve ever come across. Who does this guy think he is? Wish I could return it. On the other hand if you’re served a crappy meal at a restaurant, yet eat all of it, I guess you should pay for it. Narrator was great. Crisp and clear from begging to end.
