I liked the story and it kept me interested. I had to stay focused on the story since I wanted to silence the narrator. Sometimes even with a bad narrator you have to keep going when the story is good

What did you like best about Close Liaisons? What did you like least?
The alien twist was interesting. The narrator made it difficult to become part of the story and I wish she stayed away from the ideas that seemed to come from fifty shades of grey.

first time listening. I will finish the series but will probably not listen to any more.

Have a narrator that became the characters and not just a reader.

This romance is one to listen to more that once. Loved the characters, the story. First time reading Laura Kinsale and now I want to hear them all. The narrator Nicholas Boulton has fabulous.
