Historia
The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all. But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy.

The Bobs deserve more respect
Revisado: 04-15-25
Is it just me, or do all the women in Bob’s life seem to use him and treat him like he’s beneath them? It comes off as pretty offensive, especially considering he’s basically a god. I actually marked the book down because I believe someone as long-lived and powerful as the Bobs deserves a lot more respect—not this weird, passive-aggressive dynamic.
That said, it’s still a good book overall.

Historia
She's unlike any one or any thing else: a Non-Standard Leashed-Intelligence Cybernetic Enforcer aka NSLICE-00P. The first of her kind, she's let loose into a universe of superheroes on behalf of her sinister masters to destroy all who oppose them. And everything's going according to plan—until NSLICE-00P gets hacked and sent into the past to kill her own creator before he creates her. Obeying orders as always, she wastes the poor guy. Unfortunately, there are consequences to initiating a reality-breaking time paradox. The most significant: total ejection from that reality.

The young adults were a tad annoying
Revisado: 03-03-25
Great start of a book but the 2 young adults in the book that get into a magic contract with N-slice are a tad annoying. Not too annoying but like a caveman not understanding a lightbulb sort of annoying. I hope the next book is just a little better but if it isn’t I can live with that.

Hard to believe Jane is an adult and a gamer
Revisado: 02-16-25
It’s hard to believe Jane is both an adult and a gamer. As a game tester with a background in a tech-savvy field, you’d expect her to understand basic gaming concepts like leveling systems. Yet, she comes across as completely clueless. Some confusion is reasonable in a new world, but her extreme naivety makes her seem more like a child than an adult with agency.
What’s even more baffling is her struggle to grasp levels and stats, despite her experience as a game tester and her Computer Science degree and career at a software company in Austin, TX. It’s as if she’s never encountered the concept before. Her cluelessness extends to money, too. When a knight pays for her stay at an inn with a few silver coins, she pulls out a large gold coin and naively offers to pay. It’s common sense—even in our world—that gold is more valuable than silver and that flaunting wealth can be dangerous. Yet, Jane seems oblivious to these basic social cues.
She’s also far too trusting, going along with anyone to do anything without a second thought. Although her luck keeps her out of serious trouble, the story would have been stronger with a more realistic, adult approach to her character. It’s worth a listen, but I’m not sure I’ll continue with book two.

Born to a Magical Fantasy Princess and a nine-to-five Supervillain in the most superhero riddled city in the world, Perry's never felt...adequate. He's got no talent for magic, and not a scrap of superpowers to his name. When The System boots and unlocks his powers, it forces him to follow in his father's footsteps, but he'd rather take after his mother... Maybe there's a way he can do both...

Heather is annoying
Revisado: 11-03-24
Heather is annoying and a complete tool with her mean girl friends. This alone ruins this book. I would have scored this a 5 on every category if Heather wasn’t a horrible person with horrible friends. Perry is willing to save her life but her mean friends and herself won’t allow her to publicly take him up on his offer. But she will secretly take him up on it. That’s the sort of person she is. I’ll probably ask for a refund.

Historia
Callum had seen things all his life. There are monsters and beasts living among people, but he learned very early not to admit such things, not if he didn’t want people to think him crazy. It turns out that the supernatural is real, but at 30, Callum has no desire to be part of that secret. Not that he has a choice when it turns out he is a mage, albeit one that hasn’t cast any spells in all his life. There are requirements, duties, and education that the powers that be insist he be subject to. To hell with that.

It’s sort of annoying
Revisado: 02-05-24
Spoiler alert!! The MC loses all his powers and fights for them back the entire book. His team all got a great start in the new world but he was screwed over by the gods. This is annoying because the whole first book was him getting awesome powers and now it started over. If the next book is him losing his powers he got in this book I will rate that book 1 star.

A mediocre book at best
Revisado: 01-16-24
If you want to do a drinking game when then words impossible and false hero are spoken this is the book! The narrator kinda sucks because it’s hard to distinguish what character he is in. At best this would be a okay book if the narrator was better. I have no clue how this has so many good reviews. Was it farmed out in India or something.

Historia
When it comes to action and adventure, every hero needs a good sidekick. Holmes has Watson, Batman has Robin, and Daniel has . . . Orrin. More like brothers than friends, they always have each other's backs. And as Daniel is the big, strong, handsome type, Orrin is more than happy to remain in his shadow at school, at parties, pretty much everywhere. Then things take a turn for the truly weird when a terrible accident catapults the pair into a world totally unlike their own, in which the rules of a role-playing game hold sway.

Not what I was expecting
Revisado: 08-29-23
I had super low expectations for this book. It was a “that looks semi interesting” type book so I spent the credit expecting nothing good or bad. After listening to it I can firmly say that this book is amazing. Even the narrator is perfect for it. I already bought the second book and am looking forward to starting it!

Historia
Extreme sub-zero temperatures suffocate the surface. Frozen structures of bygone eras span across massive ice-wastes. And the survivors closely guard any technology rediscovered within them. The only escape from the deadly climate is beneath the surface, but that doesn't mean it's safe... Monstrous machines lurk in the depths. Unhinged demigods war against them, dying over and over, treating it all like a game. The depths themselves shift over time, more contraption than rock.

Not LITRPG…..but amazing
Revisado: 08-26-23
I could find nothing wrong with this book. If I had to nitpick I wish it was more LITRPG’ish….but it’s not that at all. It’s a great book and the author world builds in the best way possible. He doesn’t dumb a bunch of exposition on you. Instead he feeds you how the world turned to shit little by little. I recommend this book.
