What an engaging book about our biases and how it can affect medical knowledge & information. I absolutely binge-listened to this book because it was so interesting!

There were certainly parts of this book that resonated with me, but it became very tedious, and most of the chapters could’ve been whittled down with a more concise message.

The narration of this novel was fantastic and certainly the research was extensive. If you enjoyed “in the heart of the sea”, you will certainly enjoy this book.

Hi, saw some of the other reviews and I realize that maybe reading the book would have been more confusing with all the Emily‘s. I found it absolutely delightful to listen to, and having the narration made everything fall into place. It was a delightful way to pass the time.

Anyone who shops for food or clothing should read this book to better understand the origins, and the folks who have their hands on those products long before they reach consumers.

This was a really fantastic book! The author weaves through his story of a challenging, hunting trip to Alaska while you’re teaching us the science! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and who is curious about health science.

What an incredibly comprehensive & thorough exploration of this topic. Although it can seem hopeless, it is great that they give us, planet dwellers, some Actionable work to turn the tide.

It has been well established that dietary cholesterol is not what raises our blood cholesterol. We now know that processed carbohydrates and sugar are to blame for many of our chronic illnesses. Factory farming must stop, but we, as humans, have been eating animal products For millennia.
