Historia
France, May 1940. As the German army blitzes Europe and Parisians flee their city, the chief curator of the Musee de l'Armee is ordered to take a mysterious piece of cargo out of the country. Arriving at the port of Le Havre, he learns his intended ship has been sunk, and his cargo's uncertain fate now rests on a decrepit steamer, sailing out under German fire. Decades later, a diving expedition in the English Channel leads National Underwater and Marine Agency Director Dirk Pitt to a cache of uncut diamonds on a shipwreck. No sooner than they are discovered, the diamonds are stolen.

Not great
Revisado: 02-07-24
It’s been a while since I’ve done a Cussler book, so ridiculously far fetched and predictable that it was a poor experience.

Historia
A stolen US army drone. A shrinking oasis in the Sahara Desert. A secret stash of deadly chemicals. Each is a threat to the stability of the world but individually are problems that can be overcome. In the diplomatic arena though, everyone will have a different way of dealing with such a threat. And when those in charge disagree and refuse to back down, it will kick off an international chain reaction with potentially catastrophic consequences: a world edging closer to war....

Terrible
Revisado: 01-04-22
Sadly this rates as one of the worst books I’ve ever read, I love Ken Follett but this book was disjointed with the stories within the story totally meaningless and didn’t contribute to the bigger plot. Boring and what an absolutely useless end to all three stories.

Revisado: 02-16-21
This was a terrible read, disjointed story line and terribly unrealistic, science fiction stuff. The sound effects rounded off a terrible overall experience.

Historia
This is the story of a man who loved two women, and one of them killed him. Some people have dreams that are so outrageous that if they were to achieve them, their place in history would be guaranteed. Francis Drake, Robert Scott, Percy Fawcett, Charles Lindbergh, Amy Johnson, Edmund Hillary and Neil Armstrong are among such individuals. But what if one man had such a dream, and when he'd achieved it, there was no proof that he had fulfilled his ambition?

On a bright September morning in 1939, two days after Britain has declared war, a group of privileged but desperate people gather in Southampton to board the largest, most luxurious airliner ever built - the Pan American Clipper, bound for New York: an English aristocrat, fleeing with his family and a fortune in jewels; a German scientist, escaping from the Nazis; a murderer under FBI escort; a young wife running away from a domineering husband; and a handsome, unscrupulous thief.

Historia
Ken Follett's World Without End was a global phenomenon, a work of grand historical sweep beloved by millions of readers and acclaimed by critics. Fall of Giants is his magnificent new historical epic. The first novel in The Century Trilogy, it follows the fates of five interrelated families - American, German, Russian, English, and Welsh - as they move through the world-shaking dramas of the First World War, the Russian Revolution, and the struggle for women's suffrage.
