Carschooling
Revisado: 02-23-06
We use this for homeschooling in the car. My son enjoys a lot of the segments, but some he finds boring. He enjoys the words, jokes and interviews with famous people. He does seem to learn a good bit from it.
Somtimes the kid's enunciation is hard to understand. Its cute that kids do it, but sometimes I wish they'd use professional voices. Make sure you record it at a high sample rate.

Great for Car Schooling!
Revisado: 11-16-05
This offers excellent entertainment and educational value, especially for homeschooled children that enjoy car schooling. Each section of the audio magazine is broken down into segments ranging from one minute to about fifteen minutes. There's nothing so long that it gets boring to the younger kids. The magazine is narrated by children and is aimed at a young audience. The only drawback that the production has is that for me sometimes it is occasionally hard to understand some of the younger children that narrate. When this happens, it will be limited to one section for just a few minutes, as different kids will be presenting different segments.

Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, have just saved the rebel state from destruction by the mighty forces of King Galbatorix, cruel ruler of the Empire. Now Eragon must travel to Ellesmera, land of the elves, for further training in the skills of the Dragon Rider: magic and swordsmanship. Soon he is on the journey of a lifetime, his eyes open to awe-inspiring new places and people, his days filled with fresh adventure. But chaos and betrayal plague him at every turn, and nothing is what it seems.

Another great book!
Revisado: 09-16-05
This is a great book by a homeschooled boy! It was going around our homeschool list and I thought I'd pick up Eragon. I LOVED IT!! I'm 38 and my entire family enjoyed that book, and we all think the second is just as good or better. Now, I too do not agree with Saphira's voice - she's such a sweet dragon and the voice is not feminine enough, but that's no biggie. The story itself is well thought out, intricate, and well written. Great for kids and entertaining to us older lovers of the fantasy genre too!

Accurate portrayal of Libertarian Cyberspace
Revisado: 03-02-03
I enjoyed this book. It was a good portrayal of the Libertarian Cyberscene. It did get a bit tedious at the very end and I became a bit bored with it. I felt the author ran out of potent points and material and became a bit repetitive. I think Civil Libertarians would enjoy it.

Historia
The polls indicate that 60 percent of Americans are "upset or angry" about this land in which we now live - a land where crooked courts select the president and money rules the day. If you're feeling the same way, here's the book for you. Michael Moore, the award-winning provocateur behind Roger & Me, returns to size up the new century - and that big, ugly special-interest group that's laying waste to the world as we know it: stupid white men.

Right, Wrong- Who Cares? it was funny
Revisado: 03-02-03
This book was hilarious and I totally enjoyed it. It made me laugh even though I didn't agree with all the politics, but I never do.
I too really thought he had some incredibly interesting points about the election. What was with that anyway?

Historia
In 2001, the government was seized by a ne'er-do-well rich boy and his elderly henchmen. Our great economic expansion unraveled, our water was poisoned, and SUVs advanced like a plague of locusts. Michael Moore has a lot to say and isn't holding back. The powerful are the target, and still are stupid white men. In this bleakly funny work, Moore reveals how the great and the good screw us over; how President George W. Bush stole an election; how the rich stay rich while forcing the rest of us to live in economic fear; and how politicians have whored themselves to big business.
