Historia
Human beings can be so compassionate - and yet they can also be shockingly cruel. What if there was a hidden master control for human behavior? Switch it on and people are loving and generous. Switch it off and they revert to violence and greed. Pioneering neuroeconomist Paul J. Zak has discovered just such a master switch, a molecule in the human brain. The Moral Molecule is a firsthand account of this discovery, revealing how evolution built the Golden Rule into our biology.

Zak explains the use of a lot of research. Not really entertaining
Revisado: 04-21-24
I was recommended this working on a Masters degree in a science related field.
Mostly about oxytocin and what it does to the brain. Alot of research on mice and other animals. The author had the oleaito experiment on himself in the safety of a hospital, since they are married to a neurologist. I was a bit exhausted and not engaged with the social science and psychology of the book. Seemed like well documented reports over years. This can just be journal articles or a blog, because I don't see much replay value.

Historia
In this book, Hod Lipson and Melba Kurman offer listeners insight into the risks and benefits of driverless cars, and a lucid and engaging explanation of the enabling technology. Recent advances in software and robotics are toppling long-standing technological barriers that for decades have confined self-driving cars to the realm of fantasy. A new kind of artificial intelligence software called deep learning gives cars rapid and accurate visual perception. Human drivers can relax and take their eyes off the road.

Lots of repetitive predictions
Revisado: 06-14-23
War on cars? Yes you commute to work, errands and leisure activities. Cars or humans can be an issue, but so are roads. All roads aren't just long straight and empty. Research on AI and Robotics is a pretty good section of the book
AI does not see, react or think. This is science fiction, mixed with predictions and some facts.
I happen to enjoy driving. I do it for fun on weekends, along with a pretty big community. Taking humans from behind the wheel, will just invent new issues. Driverless will mean they are all electric cars. I possibly expect to see some by 2030, but they won't takeover.

10 interesting short stories
Revisado: 07-07-22
It took me a while to understand the concept of this book, but there are 10 separate stories with different narrators. They aren’t all good, but I think the point is the stories are thought provoking.

Good audio book on digital entertainment
Revisado: 01-06-22
Definitely good format as an audiobook. Easy to listen to lots of research and science on the streaming topic. Kind of drones on like a lecture. With that said, it's a good listen, if you're interested probably would not read the physical book
