I enjoy this book. I have to get the series. I have to say that the end was a bit surprising. At the beginning it was possible the killer was the killer, but as the story developed, the killer was rather unexpected. Great story, great new lawyer. I’m a fan. I love this new lawyer. The narrator was excellent.

Best war story I have ever listened to

Please leave it to Robert Dugoni to write the one war book that I loved, and I have listened to a few. All of them I have forgotten, but I will remember this one because I want to listen to it again. The book kept me engaged. The narration was excellent. It’s not just a story of war, but a story of love, commitment, honor, bravery, teamwork and survival.

Totally Enjoyable

I love this book. I love the narration. I can listen to it daily and not be bored. It is the cutest, sexiest, most enjoyable, romantic, and cleanest love story I have ever listened to. It is an example of how true love can happen. I hope this book has a continuation and a print version.

Exceptionally attention graphing

I loved that the guilty person was not obvious, and to think he was a serial killer was astounding. Sometimes, you can live with someone and not know them. You see or feel something wrong, maybe even once, but you think it’s just you feeling that way and deny your soul what it knows. Nothing is worse than blaming someone close to you for a crime that you committed.

A Mirror of Fake Influencers

I liked the beginning of the book. It’s a mirror of the reality of influencers. Some of them are passionate about the products they use. But it is imperative that followers do their own research and not solely rely on their recommendations.
This book’s characters were totally fake like the influences who record for clicks and money. It was a fun read, but it’s not a book that I would pick up to listen to again. If the ending reflected a sense of change in the characters, I would’ve liked it better.

I hate the ending

Good story just to end up like this? Not many people would leave everything they dreamt of to live in poverty for a woman he just married. There isn’t that much love in this world. You need to have a follow-up. The fake Chinese FBI guy who murdered Ashley’s mom and the FBI agent must die. The Chinese ex-father-in-law must die. I am waiting for book 2 when the characters come out of hiding.,

Great sto,, awesome characters, attention grabber ,unpredictable

This is an audiobook that I can listen to repeatedly. The idea that this guy, put his life on the line to save his father-in-law, a man who was like a father to him, from the Mexican mobsters, speaks volumes about courage, determination, and love. The narrator was awesome. I have to follow the narrator. He is so good.

Multi-Talented Author and Narator

Mr. Dugoni, I had no idea you could narrate so well. The book was interesting and your narration was beyond great. It is the best I have listened to with multiple characters and one narrator. Eduardo Ballerini is good, but you do the female voices a lot better than he. I am so proud of you. I had one credit and I saved it for you.
