I was disappointed. The release date said 2010, but listening to it I learned that the book has been written in the mid 1990s. What a waste.

Historia
Dish up the red meat, eggs, and whole milk! In this well-researched and captivating narrative, veteran food writer Nina Teicholz proves how everything we've been told about fat is wrong. For decades, Americans have cut back on red meat and dairy products full of "bad" saturated fats. We obediently complied with nutritional guidelines to eat "heart healthy" fats found in olive oil, fish, and nuts, and followed a Mediterranean diet heavy on fruits, vegetables, and grains. Yet the nation's health has declined. What is going on?

Must read for plant-based-diet believers
Revisado: 07-10-15
This book surprised me and made me rethink everything I've been taught about the superiority of a plant based diet. Impeccably researched and well argued. Wow. I am telling all my friends about it.

Historia
When author Jeff Hobbs arrived at Yale University, he became fast friends with the man who would be his college roommate for four years, Robert Peace. Robert's life was rough from the beginning in the crime-ridden streets of Newark in the 1980s, with his father in jail and his mother earning less than $15,000 a year. But Robert was a brilliant student, and it was supposed to get easier when he was accepted to Yale, where he studied molecular biochemistry and biophysics.

Must read book of 2014
Revisado: 05-22-15
I am so glad I picked this title. It gave me a window into the life of a complex and fascinating young man. Had I read the news articles about his death, I might have dismissed him as simply a drug dealer. But as the writer explores, he was far more than that. This is a painstaking attempt to understand why he made these choices. Well researched and with some good context about the economic plight of Millenials in general.
