Historia
Dr. Peterson guides us through the ancient, foundational stories of the Western world. In riveting detail, he analyzes the Biblical accounts of rebellion, sacrifice, suffering, and triumph that stabilize, inspire, and unite us culturally and psychologically. Adam and Eve and the eternal fall of mankind; the resentful and ultimately murderous war of Cain and Abel; the cataclysmic flood of Noah; the spectacular collapse of the Tower of Babel; Abraham’s terrible adventure; and the epic of Moses and the Israelites.

Jordan Peterson delivers
Revisado: 12-02-24
The author does not disappoint with this. I will be purchasing the hard copy on addition to the audio book so that I can comfortably switch back and forth with my Bible for additional reading and digestion of both. The simple yet deep insight that Jordan has provided is something that I believe would be a great benefit to anyone, but especially anyone that is new to biblical study or is struggling with crisis. I would love to hear the same analysis done on some other great religious works like the Mahabharata and Tao te Ching, these are mentioned in this book only briefly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in self improvement.

Historia
What does everyone in the modern world need to know? Renowned psychologist Jordan B. Peterson's answer to this most difficult of questions uniquely combines the hard-won truths of ancient tradition with the stunning revelations of cutting-edge scientific research. Humorous, surprising, and informative, Dr. Peterson tells us why skateboarding boys and girls must be left alone, what terrible fate awaits those who criticize too easily, and why you should always pet a cat when you meet one on the street.

Immensely impactful
Revisado: 12-07-22
This is the best self development book I have had the pleasure to read/hear. Many of the topics while reinforced with the authors immense knowledge of other writings, are made clear enough to seem almost self evident by the end of the chapter. The advice is useful and practical without pretentiousness or condescension. In my opinion this is a masterwork that like most others will unfortunately not be fully appreciated until it can be digested by advanced minds in the context of history and the impact that it had on the world.
Read this book. I cannot imagine the person that could walk away from this without taking away something usable to make their life better.

Historia
Conservative shock-mistress Ann Coulter continues her pillorying of American liberals with a follow-up to Slander. In an argument that poses a challenge to conventional interpretations of the First Amendment, she argues that because liberals are wrong on every issue concerning political analysis or policy prescription, their politics amount to treason.

Historia
Politics is no longer about pointing to a shining city on the hill; it's about promising you a shiny new car for your driveway. The candidate who tells the people what they want to hear is usually the one who wins - facts be damned. Politicians may be sleazy and spineless, but they're not stupid. They see that the way to win is by first telling people everything that is wrong with the world and then painting a vision of the life they want - a Utopian vision that they'll create right here on earth, one where no one is ever sick or hungry, jobless, or homeless.
