Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, I would recommend this book for anyone who is a fan of Lewis Carroll's work or someone who likes a touch of fanciful whimsy to their stories.
What other book might you compare The Curious Case of Mary Ann to and why?
Thorson does an amazing job at weaving in existing threads of Wonderland to a story that is still uniquely her own.
Have you listened to any of Emily Lawrence’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not listened to any other performance by Emily Lawrence, but I can say that this seemed a good fit between narrator and story.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Can justice exist In an illogical world of nonsense?
Any additional comments?
I really appreciated how this story tied in so well with the world of Wonderland, running parallel at times with Alice's adventures, but had it's own solid plot and key characters. Thorson is able to take a murder mystery plot and adapt it to the absurdity of Wonderland. There was the softest hints of romance that I would love to see pan out in the next novel between the two main characters. I was engaged the entire time and look forward to seeing what happens next. Historia
Meet George and Lou, thugs for hire. The kind of intimidating-yet-friendly guys who will break your thumbs, but be polite about it. Their latest assignment is to drive across Florida to deliver some precious cargo to a crime lord. The cargo: a man in a cage. Though Ivan seems perfectly human, they're warned that he is, in fact, a bloodthirsty werewolf.

Horror with a Comedic Twist
Revisado: 01-29-16
If you could sum up Wolf Hunt in three words, what would they be?
Witty, Grisly, Suspensful
Have you listened to any of Scott Thomas’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, I haven't heard anything else by him, but I found his performance to be entertaining and engaging and would listen to something else by him again.
If you could take any character from Wolf Hunt out to dinner, who would it be and why?
This is a hard one between George and Lou. But, I'm going to go with Lou. He's definitely a loyal friend-someone you would want on your side. And he's got some dry humor going on. I think we could be pals.
Any additional comments?
*If you are a reader to whom this matters, the ending of the story is about as feel-good and happy as you could hope for from a horror novel. =)

Historia
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? Fans of the Lunar Chronicles know Queen Levana as a ruler who uses her "glamour" to gain power. But long before she crossed paths with Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, Levana lived a very different story - a story that has never been told - until now. Marissa Meyer spins yet another unforgettable tale about love and war, deceit and death.

Five Stars!

If you could sum up Fairest in three words, what would they be?
Tragic, Moving, Understanding
Have you listened to any of Rebecca Soler’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I love Rebecca Soler's performances in this entire series. She stays consistent throughout all the novels.
Any additional comments?
I read a lot of mixed reviews on this book. A lot of reviewers warned readers this book was only for diehard series fans. I will say that this differs from the first three books in the Cinder series. Absolutely. It kind of has to, right? I mean, it's a book completely written from the villain's POV. I won't lie. There was a lot of sadness. Levana's life was pretty sucky. Her family life, the "accident" that left her disfigured, the tragic love of her life. All of it was horrifically sad. Unlike the other books in the series, there was no humor... no light, heart-warming banter. Nope. And on that count, those reviewers would be correct. This was not like her first three books in the series, but if it had been, Levana wouldn't have turned out to the be villain she'd come to be. As always, Meyer's writing is exquisite, and I found myself completely pulled back into this world. This series is in my top five all-time favorite YA series. If you like YA, if you like refashioned fairytales, or if you like even the slightest bit of science fiction, you should check out these books!

AMAZING
Revisado: 01-22-16
Would you consider the audio edition of Demon from the Dark: Immortals After Dark, Book 10 to be better than the print version?
Yes. Robert Petkoff's narration is AMAZING.
Who was your favorite character and why?
One of my favorite novels in the Immortals After Dark series. Malkom, the Vemon (Demon and Vampire mix) love interest, is so far from having that perfect life prior to meeting Carrow. He's not a prince to any dark realm, he's doesn't come from a family with multiple sisters and brothers... In fact, when he meets Carrow, he doesn't even have any friends. There's no luxury in his life at all. He mother sold him into slavery when he was a boy, and later in life, he was forced to kill the only friend he ever had. He's suffered years of mental and physical abuse and still was able to rise above it. Yeah, sure, when later in the book something happens that makes him snap for a short duration, his sanity might be momentarily debatable... But under those particular circumstances, who's wouldn't be? I love Malkom. He's a wonderful blend of tortured soul and innocence.
What about Robert Petkoff’s performance did you like?
Seriously, Robert Petkoff needs to win some kind of narrating award. He is freakishly talented. The longer I listen to these audiobooks, the more I come to terms with how I've undergone the Pavlov effect. When the book begins and I first hear his voice, I shiver with anticipation for all the naughty scenes to come. But it's not even just those scenes. His range of accents and multiple voices is impressive. Which really works out considering the vast characters that keep being added to this series.

Fantastic
Revisado: 01-22-16
Where does Poison Princess rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
One of my favorites!
What did you like best about this story?
I just recently got up to date with Cole's IAD series. When the withdrawals for waiting for the next book began, I decided to give her Aracana Chronicles series a try. This is a YA/New Adult/Apocalyptic/Paranormal Romance novel. After a solar flash leaves the earth in an apocalyptic state, select survivors begin to discover they've been reincarnated to play out their roles in a deadly game. These characters are based off a deck of Tarot cards and come with their own unique super abilities. The first section of the book is a little slower, as it's centered more on character development. But the action comes pretty quickly once the solar flash hits. Jackson Deveaux, the romantic interest, is super hot. I don't know that I've read a romance with a Cajun for the lead.
What about Emma Galvin and Keith Nobbs ’s performance did you like?
Both performers did outstanding jobs!
