Historia
Moving is a major life change - time-consuming, expensive, often overwhelming, and sometimes scary. But it doesn’t have to be! Instead of looking it as a burdensome chore, consider it a new adventure. Ali Wenzke and her husband moved 10 times in 11 years, living in seven states across the US. She created her popular blog, The Art of Happy Moving, to help others build a happier life before, during, and after a move. The Art of Happy Moving builds on her blog, offering step-by-step guidance, much-needed comfort, practical information, and welcome advice.

Great way to adjust your attitude and save money (for example, her suggestion to look on NextDoor for boxes got us all of our boxes and paper for free!)

Historia
In Why Good Sex Matters, Wise not only reveals the fundamental problem in how we think about sex and pleasure but also how we arrived at this problematic relationship to begin with. This fascinating book helps us reclaim our innate capacity for joy, fun, exuberance, curiosity, and humor, while showing how reaching our sexual potential makes us smarter, happier, and more productive people. Ultimately, it reveals how a new understanding of sex can lead to a more expansive experience of pleasure in all aspects of our lives.

Unfortunately, Disappointed
Revisado: 01-18-23
There’s a lot of information in this book about culture, emotional issues, and how that relates to neurobiology, but very little for me that really addresses practical ways to enhance my sex life. From a scientist who knows about “thinking off,” I was looking/expecting more help with female arousal and how to get the brain involved. This really wasn’t covered (unless I missed it, because I did skip around). The chapter on transformation through sex, where I thought I’d finally get some value, was more of the same and really didn’t address the title of the chapter. Come As You Are was a much more helpful, practical read.

Historia
LAPD cop Scott James is not doing so well, not since a shocking nighttime assault by unidentified men killed his partner, Stephanie, nearly killed him, and left him enraged, ashamed, and ready to explode. He is unfit for duty - until he meets his new partner. Maggie is not doing so well, either. The German shepherd survived three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan sniffing explosives before she lost her handler to an IED and sniper attack, and her PTSD is as bad as Scott’s. They are each other’s last chance.

best Crais book I have listened to
Revisado: 03-05-13
What made the experience of listening to Suspect the most enjoyable?
The mingling of suspense and the main character's relationship with the dog. Also, the parts of the story from the dog's POV were very intertwining.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Suspect?
When maggie would not let anyone approach her wounded owner. Finally the owner, said to maggie to get the bad guys. It was fun picturing all this occurring.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There were moments when I actually wept listening to the interaction of the dog and owner.
Any additional comments?
I liked this book very much. I like Robert Crais and this was, in my humble opinion, one of his best books.
