Historia
In a future so real and near it might be now, something happens when women go to sleep: They become shrouded in a cocoon-like gauze. If they are awakened, if the gauze wrapping their bodies is disturbed or violated, the women become feral and spectacularly violent; and while they sleep they go to another place.... The men of our world are abandoned, left to their increasingly primal devices. One woman, however, the mysterious Evie, is immune to the blessing or curse of the sleeping disease.

Atleast put the facts in
Revisado: 04-03-25
I understand king is left wing and loves Trump, why else would he mention him all the time. But the "females never started wars" is completely false. In fact, women have started more conflicts throughout history than men. Atleast put the facts in ugh

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Historia
On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Great book even with the politics and anti religion
Revisado: 10-04-24
Great book, narrator and story. I know King meant to bash Christianity (it seems only Christianity, no other religions) but Chef and Andy being agents of the Lord is unironically the best part of the book. Besides the end of them obviously. Also the politics are shoe horned in for literally no reason at all, kinda weird.

In The Dragon Factory, Ledger and his team from the Department of Military Sciences square off against two separate groups of corrupt scientists. The beautiful but twisted Jakoby Twins are creating transgenic monsters and genetically enhanced mercenaries for sale to the highest bidder. Their father, who takes evil to an entirely new level, is using cutting-edge science to complete the Nazi master-race program.

Boring, predictable
Revisado: 08-23-24
Joe Ledger is the best MMA fighter, knife fighter, sharpshooter and overall operator of the entire world ever. He is also a genius of math and science despite only being a Baltimore cop. Somehow not getting hurt nor do his team. Not against the NSA or Russian Special Forces or even literal monsters.
Also a Nazi geneticist scheme to take over the world is just too far fetched. Also Dr. Who? Was he put in this story just to be the slightly lower moral high horse?

Historia
The Earth lies shaken in the aftermath of a conspiracy. Some of the smartest minds on the planet have striven for and died in an effort to scour the skies of four vast alien satellites, but their success has brought a terrible vengeance down upon us. While alien agents stalk the Earth, a team of exhausted scientists and military outcasts struggle to fight them among a planet on the brink - the brink of plague, the brink of war, and the brink of an invasion larger than they can possibly imagine. But they have allies.

What happened to the characters?
Revisado: 03-16-24
The series started out funny, interesting and just good. But now the main character is literally turned into a dictator, basically a terrorist making threats against nations. None of it makes sense, Neil a scientist and a mossad agent somehow put together a dictatorship?
RC Bray though is amazing as always

preppers wet dream but beyond outrageous
Revisado: 06-19-23
There's nothing wrong with prepping or being prepared but this story is just outrageous. How the "apocalyptic" event itself happens is dubious at best. But the story is just awful. Jim texts his wife that this may be a "SHTF situation" so she just runs out and buys everything in this weird list he's made?
Then several people are killed, including by the wife and son yet they have no idea what's even going on. I can't finish it. Not mention every paragraph has at least one "Jim was right all along, we should have listened to him! What a smart guy"

awesome story, eerily similar to what we currently have now in 2023, the ministry of truth, restricted internet, "wrong speak" and "think". Except they're not religious, that's really the only difference.

Revisado: 01-20-23
Fantastic book, fantastic story and of course fantastic narration as always with RC Bray. I'm glad they did not bring up Unit 731 in the book, but rather some simple torture, as Unit 731 was and still is the most horrific thing I've ever heard in my entire life. I cannot believe what all those prisoners went through. Probably the worst thing in history.

Historia
Books and Bug are polar opposites, despite their friendship. Rumors on the road speak of a hospital in Washing D.C. Leading a small group of survivors, including pregnant women, the two travel in earnest to provide the soon-to-be mothers a safe place to deliver. Bug–a natural, charismatic leader–refuses to leave anyone behind while Books–a pragmatic social outsider–wishes not to be responsible for the safety of others. Together, they're exactly what this group needs to survive. But DC isn't exactly the safe haven they hoped for.

Commune, Book 5. An entirely different story?
Revisado: 10-17-22
Seeing as this is literally book #5 in the commune series, one would imagine it'd be a continuation of book #4. IT IS NOT, THIS IS NOT A CONTINUATION OF WYOMING. The narrator is great as always (R.C Bray can't beat him) but honestly I couldn't get into the story at all. What a massive disappointment
