The writing and tone

If you’re a fan of existential horror science fiction, something akin to Dan Simmons Hyperion, then you should like this. It’s dark, and portrays some very uncomfortable truths about life, what it means to be human and what alien contact really means. I’ll will be honest though, it took me three times to “start”this book but that could have completely been a me issue but once it gets going, it goes.
