Woke! He went woke.

Welp. When people get famous, they tend to get stupid. I just feel bad for how lost this author is. Deeply thinking, but severely going in the wrong direction, sadly.
I’ve been a long time fan - since his first books …. Ugh … journey ends now. I guess it might be a virus as it tends to infiltrate the way they think about everything. I heard it in dalinar speaking on humans taking over others land. Then again in the seen of an entire conversation of gay men. Idc if people are gay, but I don’t have to read books about grown gay men fantasizing of another. Well, to be fair one was a horn eater, but that wasn’t even realistic in this scene. It was forced, made it seem like the writer was trying to work out his own feelings through the conversation of the characters, and auto diminished the world the author was attempting to create, and mind you, this is book 5, so that’s hard to do. Wokeness will do it. This dude needs to focus on himself for a minute and find Jesus. He’s delved into a bit of a wicked road, and needs to not drown in it. I’ll pray for him. He’s too smart to be this dumb. Unfortunately, I’m out. Sad I spent the money on this book and really don’t see how it is rated so high. Guess this is his audience, which is more sad. At least they seem open to the spiritual realm. End the wokeness. I won’t be spending more money. From now on, talk to your therapist or preacher. Don’t put it in a book. Meanwhile, the same weird conversations of a man or woman dreaming on the opposite sex never happened, so far as I quit before day 4 or so. Well, there was lift, but she’s a teen if she even qualifies as that, and she didn’t delve into it. Just if you don’t know, you’re stupid, basically. So, why delve into the other. It’s just weird. That could have been eliminated. Fire whoever pushed you to add that. You can tell it was added as an after thought. Most won’t say anything but will just find a different read.

Historia
As a young man, Vince Ellison began his career in the belly of the beast—as a prison guard working in the worst cellblock imaginable. And it was to his dismay and sadness that he has seen that same evil later in life. This time, not in the faces of incarcerated criminals, but rather in the eyes of the leaders of the Democratic party. In this persuasive work, Vince marshals his own experience and couples it with a learned and original analysis to conclude that the leaders of America's "progressive" party aren't just wrong on their policy stances—they are deliberately destructive.

Awesome and epic
Revisado: 07-03-24
I’ve read a lot of books (and listened to). I’ve always been a reader. This book is one of the best and most truthful one I’ve read. It is pretty close to the old 1800 history books. It is backed by biblical explanations and quotations - the truth. It is also very much inspirational. The only reason I only gave 4 stars to the story and the only one thing I disagreed with was the January 6th opinion. Yes, we should not use force in most cases, especially going to the lions den, but that’s also why these conservatives did not bring guns. They majority were waved in by police - the police lines didn’t start until way after, there were many FBI agents there and had been in contact with many people already through social media — this bait started at least 6 months before the event and also why they refused the national guard and said it was “under control”. There were also many left wing activists there as well. People were killed by police for simply entering the people’s White House. Let’s not forget these people had passed by many police men who did not tell them to stay out of try to stop them from entering. The brigades had been taken down and moved before president Trumps speech was finished, and this all followed the “summer of love” let’s not forget. This was a setup so they could go after conservatives in the future, keep people from standing up in a protest out of fear of jailing, and take out some of who they thought could rally people (the future leaders of a rebellion). Let’s be smarter than to believe this narrative. The truth is everyday Americans are being held without due process without a speedy or fair trial for over 3 years now, missing birthdays, christmases, etc … when their families need them, especially as the economy struggles. Further, those burning the cities in the “summer of love” were released the same day. It’s the same as believing the Democratic Party about the other things if you believe that a really with no guns (we’d of heard about it), without violence for a long time (violence actually began by police with an onslaught of gas), and yes, those who put their hands on cops that day should be charged like anyone else, but I doubt it was 500 as has already been charged with police brutality— I don’t think there were 300 plus cops hospitalized on January 6th in Washington DC. That’s the truth, though if you look into what really happened, and honestly it’s probably worse than that. Please, educate yourself on this situation, and correct this if you ever republish this book or add a chapter of correction because people need to know the truth. Otherwise, omit the few falsities published in this book — it’s only a few paragraphs. Otherwise, the book is phenomenal and gives me a few of history I wouldn’t have had about information I wouldn’t necessarily think to research. I do know now, and will follow up with my own research. Thank you for bringing this book to us, and for your voice. It is very important to our Constitutional Republic!! I am behind you.

Ok
Revisado: 10-14-21
It was just okay. It was a magical world but the last chapter wasn't enough. The ending fell off. Linus sucks and what's his name Phoenix guy has to lead him on what to say. Every. Line. It was a great idea that fell flat. However, I loved the concept, the world, and the characters. I just wish they did more. Definitely needs another book. Think a happy Lord of the Rings.

Kept me entertained and wanting more
Revisado: 10-01-20
I was able to put it down here and there. I definitely knew what was about to happen before it did, so that was a little bit of a bummer. Kind of like watching the girl in the horror film run up the stairs. It was well written though. I’m just not one for books that end a little on the dreary side. Not my cup of tea, but it may be someone else’s.
