Historia
The War on Warriors uncovers the deep roots of our dysfunction—a society that has forgotten the men who take risks, cut through red tape, and get their hands dirty. The only kind of men prepared to face the dangers that the Left pretends don’t exist. Unlike issues of education or taxes or crime, this problem doesn’t have a zip code solution. We can’t move away from it. We can’t avoid it. We have only one Pentagon. Either we take it back or surrender it altogether.

The Road Back
Revisado: 01-07-25
Pete’s passion and brutal honesty in telling his story and exposing TRUTH in our government. Warriors we ALL must be in every corner of our lives. It is NOT a time now or in the future to sit back and expect everything to work out for our children and the future of this great country.

Social Justice Fallacies

Historia
The quest for social justice is a powerful crusade of our time, with an appeal to many different people, for many different reasons. But those who use the same words do not always present the same meanings. Clarifying those meanings is the first step toward finding out what we agree on and disagree on. From there, it is largely a question of what the facts are. Social Justice Fallacies reveals how many things that are thought to be true simply cannot stand up to documented facts, which are often the opposite of what is widely believed.

Intentions vs Results
Revisado: 02-25-24
A very interesting and troubling topic. The chronological information was very helpful in digesting the troubling errors that have been made and continue in our society. We are reaping the untoward results of many major entitlement and social justice policies - so many people are harmed.

Historia
Today it is known as Roosevelt Island. In 1828, when New York City purchased this narrow, two-mile-long island in the East River, it was called Blackwell's Island. There, over the next hundred years, the city would build a lunatic asylum, prison, hospital, workhouse, and almshouse. Stacy Horn has crafted a compelling and chilling narrative told through the stories of the poor souls sent to Blackwell's, as well as the period's city officials, reformers, and journalists (including the famous Nellie Bly). Damnation Island re-creates what daily life was like on the island....

Care of the weak and downtrodden!
Revisado: 05-30-23
A very detailed exposure of NYC criminal and social services institutions. Frightening to hear how negligent politicians and government policies have carried out inhuman care for so many weakened citizens. I appreciated the narrator’s desire to use inflection in her voice but found it frustrating because she dropped volume to such a degree at the end of most sentences. Made it difficult to hear and comprehend.

Historia
A mesmerizing narrative about the rise and fall of an unlikely international crime boss. Based on hundreds of interviews, Patrick Radden Keefe's sweeping narrative tells the story not only of Sister Ping, but of the gangland gunslingers who worked for her, the immigration and law enforcement officials who pursued her, and the generation of penniless immigrants who risked death and braved a 17,000 mile odyssey so that they could realize their own version of the American dream.

Deep Dive on Immigration
Revisado: 05-22-23
Such a difficult topic for citizens to understand! An excellent read that will open your eyes to both the history and hopefully an understanding of how deep the solutions to illegal immigration and human smuggling run. Without some understanding, we cannot begin to address the problems we face.

Historia
Mr. Griffin marshals the evidence that cancer is a deficiency disease like scurvy or pellagra aggravated by the lack of an essential food compound in modem mans diet. That substance is vitamin B17. In its purified form developed for cancer therapy, it is known as Laetrile. Why has orthodox medicine waged war against this non-drug approach? The author contends that the answer is to be found, not in science, but in politics, and is based upon the hidden economic and power agenda of those who dominate the medical establishment.

A must read!
Revisado: 05-18-23
This is more than a wake-up call to ALL citizens. We have moved farther down the stream of chronic illness and totalitarianism since this book was written. Each of us is responsible for putting the brakes on not just in medicine and FDA but in BIG government control of our lives.
