I was looking forward to listening to Jada’s book and she did not disappoint. I’m glad she had the opportunity to tell HER story without the negative outside narratives. This book was enlightening and very insightful. The respect I’ve always had for Jada has grown and I pray that she continues on the journey of loving herself.

I was excited to see a new Robin Cook book released however I'm completely disappointed that the story is so similar to Coma, Shock, etc.... Seriously, the stories have become very predictable.

I've listened to all of the books in the Sinners series and this one was rather disappointing...Especially the last story... It just didn't fit at all. I guess it's time to retire the series :-(

Good Book....But....

What did you like best about The Prodigal Son? What did you like least?
I enjoyed the story line the best. As usual with the Black family, things are always crazy. I could not stand Dillon. He was whiny and acted like a 5 year old. I don't know any grown men that would behave this way. His character was a little far fetched.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Matthew was my fav. He always seemed to have it together despite being raised in a disfunctional family.
What aspect of Peter Jay Fernandez’s performance would you have changed?
I would have had a female doing the female parts. He sounded like he was in drag.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Not if the Dillon character wasn't rewritten. There is no way I would have been able to sit through a movie about a whiny man.
