a bit more academic than I am used to
Revisado: 07-16-22
This course is very impressive as a history of a form of scholarship. I would have preferred more history of the Dead Sea scroll community and less discussion of academic debate. But that's just me. Think of it like that moment during Seder when they are debating exactly how many plagues there were and you want to scream. That doesn't mean that the Seder wasn't wonderful and worthwhile.

this course really opened my eyes and inclined me to be less doctrinaire. I would recommend it to anyone for that reason.
