Historia
Sadhguru, founder of Isha Foundation is a yogi, mystic and spiritual master with a difference. An arresting blend of profundity and pragmatism, his life and work serve as a reminder that inner sciences are not esoteric philosophies from an outdated past, but a contemporary science vitally relevant to our times.

Really a great podcast. Production quality is pretty good. I like that. It is his voice, and not voiced by an actor. Very inspirational and helps reframe your life. His accent may be a little heavy for some people to understand, without familiarity with Indian culture and dialect.

Historia
Every new project (or job, or hobby, or company) starts out exciting and fun. Then it gets harder and less fun, until it hits a low point: really hard, and not much fun at all. And then you find yourself asking if the goal is even worth the hassle. Maybe you're in a Dip: a temporary setback that you will overcome if you keep pushing. But maybe it's really a Cul-de-Sac, which will never get better, no matter how hard you try.

Great concept, but a little light on substance
Revisado: 04-30-17
I know this is a short book, but I feel like this would have been suited to be a section of the larger book. The entire book is essentially about the concept of a dip, and that in order to be great, you must persist in a market, trying new things until you find how you can be the best in the world.
I think that's a great concept, just a little short for a book.

A bit short and not really about leadership
Revisado: 01-20-17
Any additional comments?
Where exactly were the examples of Extraordinary Leadership? This book is mostly fluff about "try harder". Although it's presented in a more pleasant fashion than some other business writers like, cough, Grant Cardone, cough. At one point he goes on about making small improvements every day, and how much that ends up being after a month and a year. Yes, we all get that. The concept isn't difficult, the execution side is where most people have trouble. I feel this book was a little short on tips that could actually help you lead.

Historia
"While the history books are filled with tales of obsessive visionary geniuses who remade the world in their images with sheer, almost irrational force, I've found that history is also made by individuals who fought their egos at every turn, who eschewed the spotlight, and who put their higher goals above their desire for recognition." By synthesizing current research in the social sciences, Schwartz makes the counterintuitive case that eliminating choices can greatly reduce the stress, anxiety, and busyness of our lives. He offers eleven practical steps on how to limit choices to a manageable number, have the discipline to focus on the important ones and ignore the rest, and ultimately derive greater satisfaction from the choices you have to make.

Really a very interesting addition to the collection of business psychology books that are out there. It analyzes choice and the number of choices and how they affect people and their moods and attitudes and happiness with those choices.

Great intro to SalesForce.com
Revisado: 08-28-15
Very focused on Sales Force. Could be viewed as a 4 hour ad for their service. Nonetheless, it has some great process and organizational ideas.
