great ending but hope its not

this felt like an end of the series so I'm left with mixed feelings. should I grieve or can I begin expectant waiting for the next book as usual? I hope the latter. but this was a great read and satisfying ending if it turns out to be that. But somehow I think I'll be hearing Jane's and Beasts voice again. Hope stands eternal.

I prefer audiobook as listen while I work. I hope this author team does more of their books in audio as I will add them to my " to read" list. very entertaining.

love/hate kinda book

I want to start this entire series over again but I need my life back for a few weeks. This is one of those books that are so good you hate to stop reading, or listening to (even better I think in this case). I know this is cliche, but if you don't read anything else this year, read this and you'll be happy. Fantastic and very well done conclusion to the series. but I'm gonna really miss the people/characters. They have become friends in they're own way. I think I'll read Night Angel now just to get a little more addicted to, and get my fix of Brent Weeks.

great story and tangent. more in this ilk would be great. Frank's story can go it's own way but keep MHI around. and finally frank vs wolfman. cool as hell

If you could sum up Free: The Adventures of Tom Stranger, Interdimensional Insurance Agent in three words, what would they be?

Surprising. Hilarious. Anticipatory.

Who was your favorite character and why?

President Adam Baldwin. Both reader and character. Sorry. I'm a Firefly and Chuck fan through and through, and he has always been a favorite.

Which character – as performed by Adam Baldwin – was your favorite?

The 30 foot alien who let his laiblity insurance lapse. (There's no way I can spell his name.) He was a hoot. Larry Correia, (the bad ass inventor of the Wombat gun, not the author) was a close second.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

As I said, laugh out loud and under different circumstances I could have laughed until I cried.

I was in a hospital waiting room where my son was having surgery for an extremely serious issue that could have literally been life or death, and amputation of his arm was a real possibility. It was and still is a very scary situation To be able make me laugh (which I really needed an appreciated right then) should not have been possible. I was listening to this audiobook to take my mind off of my son's situation but I was really surprised, even shocked that it worked. (Thank you very much for that by the way. My son came through the surgery and so far so good but it'll be awhile before he's completely out of danger.)I had heard of but never read anything by Larry Correia prior to this, and only I got it because it was short and free. (Thanks for that also.) I liked it so much that as soon as I finished I purchased the first Monster Hunter International book; both the Audible audiobook and the Kindle ebook,, and I am well into that now. So far it looks to be another very entertaining read and listen.I listen to audiobooks almost constantly as I drive many hours every day, and I normally work alone. A good audiobook is like having company with me, or a partner while I'm driving or working. I really enjoy the distraction they bring and they help to pass the hours in an enjoyable fashion. I've listened to hundreds, if not thousands of audiobooks, and have been an avid reader for my entire life. Its a real pleasure when I find a book or story that I truly like. Its an even much greater pleasure when I find a new author that I like, especially when that author has many other (hopefully equally good) books under their belt. Larry Correia has so far joined the ranks for both of those categories.Thanks for a wonderful book, and thanks just as much for making it free as otherwise I might never have discovered Mr. Correia.As for Adam Baldwin, I have always been a fan of his and I hope he does more books. He did an amazing job with this one. If he ever reads this review, let me put my own request for him to do more in this genre. If they ever do a Firefly audiobook and think he could be the voice of the entire crew and I'd be satisfied. (But it would be better if a few other original cast members helped him out. God that would make an an awesome book. If we can't get them to make a movie, I think that would be a close second choice. Think about it.... please. I'll reserve my copy now.)

I have to admit they warn you right on the cover. but I kept hoping for some redeeming quality. never found it. Won't listen to the sequels.

Very well written, fun & a fantastic narrator.

Very much looking forward to the sequels and hope there are many (not to far apart either). I will also look for other books by the same narrator as he made the audiobook a joy to experience.
