Great story! Couldn’t put it down!
Revisado: 05-05-24
Love the story.. All in all a good read. Language is a bit more colorful than is necessary. I don’t know why writers feel the need for that…Content is pretty dark at times and not for the young readers. Still a very good depiction of good against evil.

Historia
After his December 2003 arrest, registered nurse Charlie Cullen was quickly dubbed "The Angel of Death" by the media. But Cullen was no mercy killer, nor was he a simple monster. He was a favorite son, husband, beloved father, best friend, and celebrated caregiver. Implicated in the deaths of as many as 300 patients, he was also perhaps the most prolific serial killer in American history.

A must read for healthcare workers

Wow! I couldn’t put this book down. The tragedies of these victims can’t be overlooked. This book is well written and all parties represented respectfully. As a medical provider, this is a must read.

A book EVERYONE will enjoy! Don’t miss this one!
Revisado: 09-12-21
I had heard of the story of the deaths of the missionaries but truly didn’t know the story. The history of those events are tragic but this book gives you the REST of the story which is mind-blowing! No matter what you believe about God and faith, you will fall in love with these sweet Amazon folks from Ecuador. I hope you will “see it very well” to listen to this book. Narration is excellent. I only wish I could find another book for a continuation on the lives of all these folks.

Historia
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.

Good story
Revisado: 07-07-20
This is a great view of the happenings during the sale witch trials...my only negative comment would be still not knowing the importance of the red book and the history of the father...still a good story...
