this is a bit different from Zane grays other novels
Revisado: 03-31-25
Early on in the book, the protagonist, Adam shoots his brother and hasta flee into the desert. There he needs a few different people, some of them,Native American, and some of them, Mexican, some of them white from whom he learns the ways of the desert. He also assists some of these people. There’s a lot of description of this. The scenery and a lot of sophistry is Adam ponders life and its meaning. If you are looking for a novel with a lot of gunplay, this is not for you.

Historia
Old Michael Snowdon returns to London with an inheritance that he determines should go towards helping the poor—but goodness and charity are not to play a part here. Everyone has an agenda, and scheming spreads through the story like a disease. Gissing’s own experience of London as an outsider in a vast city that both fascinated and appalled him gave him the tools and the drive to create a visceral sense of place. Life is unremittingly grim for just about everyone, from the weak and well-intentioned Jane to the coarse, cunning Clem Peckover and her feckless rival Pennyloaf Candy.

Loved it a really amazing story. I didn’t want it to end.
Revisado: 03-14-25
The story follows a group of people in the slums of late Victorian London. There is an inheritance, and some of these people are scheming to get their hands on it but it’s more than just a story about an inheritance. T The descriptions of the poverty on the slums in London as part of this novel, the best way to describe it is the setting is like a Charles Dickens novel but the characters are tragic like in a Thomas Hardy novel. Definitely worth the credit.

Another hit from trollop e
Revisado: 03-05-25
I enjoyed this book it is, to my knowledge, one of his lesser-known, standalone novels, but it was very entertaining, and has all the wet and turn of phrase that you expect from trollop, as well as a good story. It is definitely worth spending a credit on. You will not regret it.

Dear, sweet innocent, Molly Gibson
Revisado: 02-06-25
At the beginning of the story, Molly Gibson lives with her dad, a widower and a country surgeon by the name of Dr. Gibson. Dr. Gibson, Mary’s another widow, by the name of hyacinth Kirkpatrick, who is somewhat of a shallow and unpleasant of a woman, but it’s not all together evil. She brings with her a daughter, Cynthia, Molly, and Cynthia. Become fast friends and there are marriage proposals and a local scandal. I don’t want to give away any spoilers so I’ll just leave it at that. This is a a pleasant story. I really e enjoyed it

Don’t care enough about the story, but I will waste more credits on the sequels
Revisado: 01-18-25
This book just drags. It rambles on and on and on without hardly anything happening. The concept for the story is a good one. The problem is that there’s so little happening in the story that it just becomes tiresome. The narrator, however did an awesome job. So I gave the performance five stars but the book itself. Well, let’s just say that I wish I could have my credit back after wasting it on this title.

The teenaged, humanoid rabbit girl was a bit odd, but it was still a good story
Revisado: 01-13-25
Before I review the story, I’d like to mention that the narrator did an amazing job with all those different voices and accents, and I would definit place in Lagos Nigeria, and covers different iterations of that city as it would be in different universities. I don’t want to give away spoilers, so I’ll be vague, but it deals with interdimensional travel, which is already been discovered by most parallel. be willing to listen to more of the books that are narrated by her. The story take place in Lagos Nigeria, both in this world, and the various iterations of that city in other universe is. The protagonist accidentally discovers interdimensional travel, which is already well-known to other parallel earths. Halfway through the story a war is accidentally triggered between organic earths and earths, dominated by computer intelligence. The story is engaging and entertaining. Give it a try. You won’t be sorry.

Another good yarn from Susanna Gregory
Revisado: 01-02-25
I’ve liked all the books that I’ve read so far in the series. This installment centers around both are rent war between the university who wants to keep run slow for their hostels and colleges, and the towns men who own the properties, wanting to raise the rent, there is also a faith healer, who comes to town, and attempts to discredit Matthew Bartholomew, and the other physicians at Cambridge. He makes bogus claims of resurrection and healing. Incurable diseases. I’d like to mention that David Thorpes, narration and voice acting are excellent, especially the voice he gives to brother Michael, the senior Proctor and gluttonous monk.

I would call the protagonist, Carol Kennecott, a different name, but I’m afraid it wouldn’t get past the sensors here on Audible. She does nothing but complain complains about the town complains about the people living in the town complains about her husband nothing satisfies this woman.
