....for the next book. 😉 I am always astounded at how the plot seems to be the last thing on the list of what is happening in these books. Somehow through all that conversation, some crazy things still happen. As a constant reader of this series, you can always tell when Ms. Hamilton is inspired by one of her books because it is then referenced again and again until the next 'good' one. Raphiel is suggested reading before you listen.

The story is not bad until about halfway through, but it diverges from mythology. I prefer to think of Medusa as turned completely into a monster, not just a girl with snakes for hair. This story sounds like something a middle school girl would come up with for a writing assignment. The author talks about power, but I get a sense she has no idea what that is. Short waste of time.

While I beleive everyone should read Utopia as a baseline of critique for modern society, this recording was Booooring. I was a philosophy major and even I was lulled to sleep. It would not hurt the work itself to be read by someone with enthusiasm. The whole point of the letter is that the man who experienced the Utopians is excited about their ways.
