Title story good, but Part II Confusing
Revisado: 02-19-25
I love Simon Vance and I loved A Study in Scarlet. But there was a part two that had absolutely nothing to do with Sherlock Holmes.

Different Narrator
Revisado: 09-13-23
I loved this story. But, the Narrator is different than the other books in the series. It threw me off and was less enjoyable because the characters did not sound how they should.

Historia
When her father leaves the Church, Margaret Hale is uprooted from her comfortable home in Hampshire to move with her family to the North of England. Initially repulsed by the ugliness of her new surroundings in the industrial town of Milton, Margaret becomes aware of the poverty and suffering of local mill workers and develops a passionate sense of social justice. In North and South Gaskell skillfully fused individual feeling with social concern and in Margaret Hale created one of the most original heroines of Victorian literature.

Historia
Generations of readers young and old, male and female, have fallen in love with the March sisters of Louisa May Alcott's most popular and enduring novel, Little Women. Here are talented tomboy and author-to-be Jo, tragically frail Beth, beautiful Meg, and romantic, spoiled Amy, united in their devotion to each other and their struggles to survive in New England during the Civil War. It is no secret that Alcott based Little Women on her own early life.

Horrible Sound Editing
Revisado: 07-27-21
I love this book. And I love the Narrator. Unfortunately, the sound editing is awful! It goes super loud to very soft in the same sentence. I was sad because It was by far the best narration of all the Little Women. Hopefully they can fix the sound editing soon!
