I was excited for this book after reading the Untethered Soul but this was a total disappointment and kinda turned me off to the author.

It wreaked of the whole law of attraction - which maybe I am too jaded - but it just stinks of entitlement to go on and on about how an educated white man's life "just worked out" 🤮

I get the whole theory but it disgusts me how little people who subscribe to this woo woo theory see of the real struggles of people in the world. Its so absurdly entitled and naive and tonedeaf. Yes there is something to the idea of accepting the world as it is - there are some very important buddhist principles there - but this isnt that. It takes a beautiful teaching and makes it seem almost shaming to people who things dont just fall into place perfectly for. Its a total rip off of actual enlightenment.

if you've ever left you house and have common sense don't waste your time. the narrator talks slowly like he's talking to a little kid and tells you obvious things like don't forget your passport. I've only left the country once and all of this was already painfully obvious
