That's how Daniel Dorr got started: flirting with a beautiful brunette and spouting impressive plans. Six months later, he was lying on the gravel trail at 18,000 feet, panting and hacking in the darkness.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
We really wanted to like this book, but the story and the reader weren't compelling. We stopped listening after 45 minutes or so, skipped ahead, but still could not get into the book. Maybe this is one of those times where it's better to read the story than listen.
