Historia
Realizing that we all leave a legacy once we depart this earth should be enough of a wake-up call for transformative action. Yet, many of us remain stalled at the crossroads. Why? Because the path to crafting a deliberate legacy can seem elusive, and the weight of the uncertainty can be overwhelming, leading to inaction. "The Legacy Navigator" is a masterful blueprint that demystifies the art of intentional legacy creation. Lance Welch lays out the logical, easy to follow next steps using the four legs of the legacy table to navigate the process of creating your ideal family legacy.

A playbook for the intentional life
Revisado: 06-18-24
As a man with two young girls and a baby boy I wanted to make sure to create and represent a family that promotes independence, joy, personal development and spiritual awareness. This book is a simple practical, but powerful playbook that helps me understand the blueprint for doing just that.

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Not real personal growth
Revisado: 12-06-23
Some anecdotal wisdom but its f*ckin average. In all seriousness, i read voraciously and can get through a lot. Really every fifth sentence there’s an F bomb. Strategic cursing can be powerful. This book isn’t for people looking to actually grow. It’s like the American Pie version of personal development. I’ll be requesting a refund.

Historia
This is the story of the rise to national power of a desperately poor young man from the Texas Hill Country. The Path to Power reveals in extraordinary detail the genesis of the almost superhuman drive, energy, and ambition that set LBJ apart. It follows him from the Hill Country to New Deal Washington, from his boyhood through the years of the Depression to his debut as Congressman, his heartbreaking defeat in his first race for the Senate, and his attainment, nonetheless, at age 31, of the national power for which he hungered.

The world works like this
Revisado: 10-27-23
A phenomenal book. Coming from someone who really only understood, and very much disliked LBJ for Vietnam/Great society etc. And who was born right outside of Johnson City, this book was tremendous in scope yet still concise, and is a masterclass on what a politician is. For its history, deep perspective on a complicated narcissist with a voracious inferiority complex, who admittedly wanted power from a very young age- this book is outstanding. Grover makes it unfold like a film based on novel. Highly recommend.

Historia
Here is the story of Jerry Weintraub: the self-made, Brooklyn-born, Bronx-raised impresario, Hollywood producer, legendary deal maker, and friend of politicians and stars. No matter where nature has placed him - the club rooms of Brooklyn, the Mafia dives of New York's Lower East Side, the wilds of Alaska, or the hills of Hollywood - he has found a way to put on a show and sell tickets at the door.

Defining this book
Revisado: 10-23-22
This book is chock full of so much creativity, wisdom and overall, straight value. It’s hard to define the book in the sense that it contains some of the most tremendous advertising and marketing concepts You’ll hear (he’s really studied the greats and synthesized their principles from a practical standing) but there is philosophy, personal development and core business running instructions.
Im only 7 chapters through, my notes are copious. I’m an investment and retirement planner and the revelation I’ve gotten from this book and the simple way he lays out what questions we need to be asking- in any industry- will change the way I communicate and interact with my clients for the better. I’m enjoying it so far.

Historia
Evoking days gone by when coaches were respected as much for their off-court performances as for their success on the court, Wooden presents the timeless wisdom of legendary basketball coach John Wooden. In honest and telling passages about virtually every aspect of life, Coach shares his personal philosophy on family, achievement, success, and excellence. Raised on a small farm in south-central Indiana, he offers lessons and wisdom learned throughout his career at UCLA, and life as a dedicated husband, father, and teacher.
