What disappointed you about Deathless Collection: Books 1-3 and the Prequel Novella?

only the Bad Guys are likeable! The Good Guys are so sickeningly good, and STUPID!- if you don't have a second to spare due to your eminent demise, then why stand around for several minutes discussing that you don't have any time to spare???? Just get out, or kill the bad guy or whatever it is that needs to be done!

What do you think your next listen will be?

Certainly not any more of Chris Fox. I do Like Brandon Sanderson, however his Elantris book is terrible.

What three words best describe Ryan Kennard Burke’s performance?

could be better. why?-Good Guy characters are sickeningly good, and Burke manages to make them sound whiney as well.

too many to list. I found my mind wandering many times throughout, and could not finish although I have been trying to get though it for months.

What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?

his voice is mellow and he does different characters in a slightly different way so that it is easy to follow who is speaking when the author does not write in who says what. He rarely does a sudden change to the volumeof his voice (it is REALLY ANNOYING to have your eardrums blasted as some narrators do) .

leaves you hanging a bit at the end, but the story line is good and it makes you think.

What did you like best about The Charm School? What did you like least?

narrator was great as usual. Story started out good, but dissolved into a boring romance, with a loud mouth female lead (I am a female, and could not stand her) that is supposed to be smart & educated, but cannot keep her mouth shut when it would benefit herself & her lover. Predictable ending.

unfortunately I purchased 3 before listening to any of them- the story descriptions sounded intruiging. Her voice is quite annoying at times, especially when she shreiks(!!!!).

no not ever. The story was not at all interesting. There was no mystery. The gratuitous sex was neither shocking nor believable.

This is Christie at her best. Emilia Fox does a superb job narrating, using subtle voice changes for each character which makes it easy to follow the dialogue.

This is one of PD James best. Great characters, interesting story. Narration is excellent. Jayston is one of my favorite narrators.
