Historia
Plenty of experts argue that anyone who wants to develop a skill, play an instrument, or lead their field should start early, focus intensely, and rack up as many hours of deliberate practice as possible. But a closer look at research on the world’s top performers shows that early specialization is the exception, not the rule. David Epstein examined the world’s most successful athletes, artists, musicians, inventors, forecasters and scientists. He discovered that in most fields—especially those that are complex and unpredictable—generalists, not specialists, are primed to excel.

This book helps the reader/listener understand why having a diverse knowledge is important. It uses general information that almost everyone in the general public will already know to help the reader transform the way they think about how we learn, what we learn, and potentially how one might oversee the development/learning of others in various fields such as education sports, careers, etc.

Historia
Carlo Ancelotti is one of the greatest managers of all time, with five Champions League titles to his name. Yet his approach could not be further from the aggressive theatricals favoured by many of his rivals. His understated style has earned him the fierce loyalty of players like David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Good simple description of leadership
Revisado: 04-08-20
This book does a great job of giving specific examples of the quiet leadership model favored by Carlo Ancelotti. The books gives all the foundational pieces of quiet leadership without making you feel like there is only one way to approach leadership. I recommend for anybody in a leadership role or a member of a team (this is not limited to soccer/football or even sports for that matter)
