Jack Carr's writing about the skills of tracking and hunting reminds me of one of my all time favorite and legendary writing heroes Wilbur Smith. May he Rest In Peace. This was truly brilliantly done. In The Terminal List, Lt. Commander James Reece had me breaking, grieving, angry, anxious and celebrating each righteous kill (even though I literally gagged through some of the gory bits) - Good job to Ray Porter! If you have your listeners cringing, sweating, nauseous, laughing and biting their nails, you are doing it right!. Savage Son is excellent! However, with the introduction of each new character, Jack provides a full back story of said character. It is of course necessary for us readers/ listeners to understand the characters and their motivations that drives the plot especially when it comes to the antagonists psyche, but it's a little too drawn out for me. But that's just me. Regardless, I loved it very much and I have definitely gone back to the beginning multiple times because I did not want the story to end. I would definitely recommend!

Winner Series!

Ok. A lot to say here. I started this Tier One journey with Collateral. You know...coz it was free and I'm a cheapskate. I then went on to buy the entire series from Tier One to Specter because I was hooked. As in line and sinker! So needless to say that I highly anticipated this book. I would be remiss if I did not first mention the fantastic job Ray Porter has done narrating this series. He brings the great stories of Brian Andrews and Jeffrey Wilson to life. Their stories are truly masterful. From the plot twists, the details in the action scenes, details on the weapons, gadgets, surveillance, strategies and the technical aspects. Then I am emotionally invested in the main characters. The emotions...Yes I ugly cried! So many feelings! I felt their heartbreaks with each loss. I celebrated their triumphs and my pulse actually sped up during the suspenseful parts. I also appreciate the introductions to each new character and their back stories and personalities. So then to Mr. Andrews and Mr. Wilson. Congratulations to you gentlemen on having your Tier One series approved for film or series adaptation. Personally I prefer the latter as I don't believe that a mere 210 minute film would do this series or the super bad@$$ character of John Dempsey justice. Case in point "The Gray Man" And I love Mark Greaney! I loved what Amazon Prime did with Lee Childs "Reacher" Tom Clancy's "Jack Ryan" and recently Jack Carr's "The Terminal List" Please do not allow those studio executives pressure you to change the stories too much to what they believe to be more "Woke" or to satisfy "Modern Audiences" Keep it real! Love you!

Absolutely Enjoyed it!

Jack Carr is my new absolute favorite! I believe his many years of experience in Naval Special Warfare shines in his writing and to me makes the story very engrossing and the action sequences more believable. I was captivated from beginning to end. It made me feel all the feels as Lt. Commander James Reece experienced it. This is also due to the exceptional job Ray Porter does in narrating this book. I have first listened to Ray's narrations with Brian Andrews and Jeffrey Wilsons' Tier One and Shepard series and have enjoyed his performance every time! I am now very much lookin forward to The Terminal List series featuring on Amazon Prime Video. Also because, you know...Chris Pratt ;-)

Brilliantly done Joe Arden!

I have always heard about the famous dark poet Edgar Allan Poe but somehow never read his work. Something l sort of regret. however, I am very grateful for being introduced to Poe in this manner. Joe Arden has brought it to life for me. I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book! I am looking forward to more of this from Joe!

Never disappoints!

All hail queen Lauren B! I have never laughed so much while listening to an audiobook! Joe Arden well done on the Shakespeare rap! I actually applauded! FYI I was in public and people in the store looked at me funny. Love Andi and Shane's performance. I only have two issues...why the hate on bacon and what the hell is wrong with Cold Play? :-( I love Cold Play! otherwise I enjoyed it immensely!

Brilliantly sexy!

Okay. Lauren Blakely's books to me is like crack to a junkie. Her stories always captivate me. But can we please take a moment and reflect on Sebastian York speaking in French during this performance? I was in public listening to this Audiobook minding my business when all of a sudden I had Sebastian's sexy voice in my ear speaking in the third sexiest language in the world! (yes I googled it! Sue me!) And can I just say WHOA! My pulse actually sped up and I got literal goose bumps! I nearly embarrassed myself by applauding. But I didn't because I would have seemed like a crazy person. I was in public after all! Sebastian did a great job! Yes I am applauding now! That is all...

I love this series!

This series is great. I loved Remo and Serafina. However, because it is fiction, I can maybe overlook the kidnapping and clear case and full definition of stockholm syndrome going on. (mmm not really) Anyway. I loved that Serafina was able to go toe to toe with Remo who is the cruel Capo of the Camorra of Las Vegas and is also "beyond redemption" (I lost count on how many times that line was used) Remo may have kidnapped Serafina, but she captured him as well. I loved the overall performance of both Tor Thom and Charley Ongel. With that said, Nino and Kiara are still my favorites of the Camorra Chronicles and hope that there will be Audiobooks for Twisted Emotions and Twisted Hearts soon. Cannot wait. That is all...
