Good story with lots of twists

I really enjoyed the strong lead and know enough of the area to recognize specific locations. I do agree with the review that some of the area is very high-end and that is overlooked, but still enjoyable. The one thing that has me the most hesitant to continue listening is the narrator’s pronunciation of Rodriguez, it is so over-emphasized that it is truly distracting to the story and I cringe every time I know it’s coming.

Great story - needs a new narrator

The story is terrific, had me laughing out loud in the middle of the grocery store. However, the narrator is completely inappropriate. For the first few minutes it makes it almost intolerable, however, the story kept me hooked and I was able to finish. I see there is a new narrator for the second book in the series so I can't wait to give that one a try.

Great story about Tod

After reading reviews, I added this story to my library and I am so glad I did. While I agree that the narrator's "Nash" voice is off-putting, the story line provides some great background information about Tod. I do think that one could listen to this story before any of the other books, but I think I would have enjoyed it even more before book 3 to understand Tod and Nash's relationship.
