I was waiting for so long for this to come out. I'm blind, so I haven't been able to watch The Chosen because it's not audio-described, and that is vital for me. So, I was thrilled when I realized the books were an exact narrative of the series.

I was particularly looking forward to this volume because a friend gave me a spoiler which I accepted, that Shula would be healed. When I read that scene, I cried like a baby because her doubts and fears mirror mine exactly. I was born blind, but that's the only difference. All I can say is that this really gave me hope for my healing. Thank you, Jerry, for writing this series as a book so people like myself can enjoy them without having to watch it. Having said that, I am hoping for audio description to be included in every season.

Wow, just Wow!

I made sure to leave a review because I think Storm was one of the most controvercial characters. Let me just say this was my favorite story so far. My favorite was the redemption, which we all can have. Beautiful, touching story.

Amazing!

This book was absolutely incredible! Spoiler alert: I loved how there wasn't drama around the relationship itself. With most romance books, the couple gets together, breaks up, then gets back together. There were plenty of opportunities for the relationship between Liza and Michael to fall apart, but their relationship only grew stronger. With the drama with the church stuff, plus the custody case, things could've gone badly. I loved how natural the relationship progressed, and how they were so strong for each other when it counted.

I cried so much throughout the book, and laughed just as much. I really hope Gomes writes a lot more novels, especially in Haven. I'd love an update on the characters, and maybe there could be a Haven series, with different characters highlighted while keeping us up to date with Michael, Liza, and the kids. Being blind myself, I appreciate how Liza was portrayed, and wish to be half the person she was. Thank you so much for such an amazing book. The narration was amazing, too. Please don't stop writing!

Amazing conclusion!

As usual, Michelle Madow's books are incredible. The finale to this trilogy was incredible. You might want a box of tissues, as I was crying more than once. I just wish it wouldn't be over since so much more could happen, like what happens next? Definitely recommend the whole trilogy. I was worried about it at first, since she mostly writes magic themed books, but I was silly to worry. You will laugh, be angry, and cry, and it will all be worth it.

The second book in the trilogy was amazing, just like all of Madow's work. Sometimes, I forgot I was reading a story, and thought everything was real. Madow does a great job bringing the characters to light. The only complaint I have that I want the next book, now! Warning: this does end in a cliffhanger, but if you are good at intuiting, you'll figure it out. Happy reading!

Great Story

I was skeptical about this book at first. If you are familiar with Michelle Madow, then you know that she mostly does urban fantasy and romance. This book/trilogy doesn't have any element of magic, and I didn't know if that would take away from her writing style. I was very impressed with it, and am excited to see where this trilogy goes.

Trigger warning to those who may have suffered an eating disorder. one of the main characters, Madison, may have one. Though it's not actually mentioned, there are symptoms of her possibly having one, or one being developed. She has severe body-image issues, and counts every calorie in an unhealthy way. Also, there is a lot of drinking in this book, but that is to be expected in this type of setting. Still though, I absolutely loved it, and am so excited to see what happens next.

Absolutely amazing!

I couldn't put the book down. I wish there would be a sequel because I got so caught up in the story I didn't think it would end. Plus, I feel like so much more could have the potential to happen. J.E. Pinto did an incredible job bringing the characters to life, and portraying blindness in such an accurate way. I guess it helps that she knows first-hand about that, though.
