This book was EVERYTHINGGG!! It gave me so the feels/emotions. I was happy, sad, hopeful, angry, emotional, on the edge, and sobremesa just over Patch, lol. I felt like I was living the life through the author’s/narrators eyes. I would definitely recommend, in fact I already have.

Keep the ones u love close but never trust anyone. The ones u love will hurt u the deepest! Was not expecting the outcome. Like damn!! Dont wanna give away the story, but I will say Zeke and his wife definitely better watch their backs. Let me go listen to part 2, bc it gotta be some revenge going down in the next book.

OMGGGG!!! First, Krucial is a fool!!! He had me laughing so hard throughout the whole series!!! I loved him as much as Andreka! The whole story was great & different than other hood stories. My first time reading this author’s work, but will definitely not be my last! Big props to the narrators they made the story even better

This has got you be the WORST narrator ever!!!! I cant even enjoy the book because of him! There’s no change in voices to let you know who’s speaking, no infliction in the voices, NOTHING!! May have been a good story, IDK. In deleting this one and the other two

I’ve never heard of this author before, but baby she/he just wanted a new fan. I love the plot, the character development, the lessons, the highs and lows. I’m so looking fwd to to the next installment, PLEASE PUT IT ON AUDIBLE. I NEED to know what happened next.

Great Book but…

The story line was great, the character development was great. I’m so glad u didnt make Nas too much of a villain and kill him off. We all want a man like Nas in many ways! The only thing that was not so great was the narrator voices. I loved the male narrator voice but he didnt seem to put emphasis where need be some times. The female narrator paused too long and at the wrong times and again no real emphasis in her voice where need be.

Everything about this series was good!! I line the narrator’s voice. She’s definitely now my favorite female narrator. The twists and turns of this series kept me looking for more. The ending was so unexpected!!! But I have questions about the fate of some of the characters as I’m sure other readers do as well. Sooo will there be a mini book just wrap it all up???

Another great story

I first fell in love with Kwan and Carry when i listened to Animal. Although this book was not as great as Animal or Black Lotus it’s still a great book. Yes Carry this mispronounce Lou-Loc name quite a few times, but for me it didn’t take away from the story. Kwan you broke my heart with the ending tho…I didn’t see it coming.
