Historia
When it first gets announced, the Leteo Institute's memory-alteration procedure seems too good to be true to Aaron Soto; miracle cure-alls don't tend to pop up in the Bronx projects. Aaron can't forget how he's grown up poor, how his friends all seem to shrug him off, and how his father committed suicide in their one-bedroom apartment. Then Thomas shows up. The love Aaron discovers may cost him what's left of his life. But since Aaron can't suddenly stop being gay, Leteo may be the only way out.

Narration often made it difficult to distinguish which character was speaking .
Revisado: 06-18-17
Interesting storyline. Hard to tell which character was speaking in frequent dialogue between two teenaged boys.

Pronunciation, gah! Polar-EYE-zation??
Revisado: 03-24-15
Overall I like it, but there's some really Irritating exaggerated pronunciation of frequently used words, such as: polar-EYE-zation, civil-EYE-zation, etc...

In John Scalzi's re-imagining of H. Beam Piper's 1962 sci-fi classic Little Fuzzy, written with the full cooperation of the Piper Estate, Jack Holloway works alone for reasons he doesnt care to talk about. Hundreds of miles from ZaraCorps headquarters on planet, 178 light-years from the corporations headquarters on Earth, Jack is content as an independent contractor, prospecting and surveying at his own pace. As for his past, thats not up for discussion.

Not at all like the original!
Revisado: 02-25-13
This story is good, interesting, and well read - with the exception of the obtrusive "he said" "she said" after many lines of rapid fire dialog. However, it is a fundamentally new take on a very loose framework of the original. The character of key characters and of the fuzzy creatures themselves is changed. It is an entirely different story.

Repetative
Revisado: 12-27-10
I generally enjoy Gail Godwin's work. However, in this case, while the recording is fine, the work itself is too repetitive - several lines of dialog are repeated verbatim in multiple scenes. I cannot recommend this title.
