Historia
Our divides are destroying us: red versus blue, Black versus White, globalists versus nationalists, agnostics versus Christians. Drawing on seminal research on social identity and cultural intelligence, this book explains our impulse to divide people into “us” versus “them” and reveals how we can tackle tribalism, confront racism, and develop a common vision for the future. David Livermore outlines the four competencies of Cultural Intelligence—motivation, cognition, metacognition, and behavior—and shows how we can apply this foundation to a wide range of situations.

Digital, Diverse & Divided is the book that every business person has to buy to better understand why cultural intelligence is necessary to going global. The chapters length and the story telling are perfect for lectures or discussions. However, if you are living in a country with a different culture background, or polarized by political crises and social conflict: this book is the best to read or listen. David Livermore teaches us how to communicate across divides for working together in the solution of shared problems. He is generous with knowledge sharing, and very clear when writing and narrating (helpful for nonnative speakers of English). After reading the book, I feel more confident, opened minded, more cultural intelligent and best prepared for new challenges. I bought the kindle version, and the audible to reinforce my learning. I just want to live in a better world, and Livermore gives me hope. I will definitely pay more attention to my quotes (digitally), because it all depends!
