If you could sum up The Twelve Tribes of Hattie (Oprah's Book Club 2.0) in three words, what would they be?

Spellbound at best!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hattie, of course! Dynamic and she never changed. Poor girl--she never had a chance with having all those children.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

Hattie.

Who was the most memorable character of The Twelve Tribes of Hattie (Oprah's Book Club 2.0) and why?

Hattie carried a purpose and never changed throughout her lifetime. Dedicated and loved her children.

Any additional comments?

I wish that there would be a second book to see how everyone turned out.

I really, really loved this memoir! Very detailing and I laughed and cried just about all at the same time! Sad at times and shocked but it kept my attention and I couldn't put it down. It was like I lived there and I felt Aminatah"s pain. Beautiful and talented narrator as well!

I loved the ending. Made sence but was surprising at the same time.

Which character – as performed by Toni Morrison – was your favorite?

Bride.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Any additional comments?

Could have been a bit more interesting if different voice tones were used.
