Historia
The London Silver Vaults—for well over a century, the largest collection of silver for sale in the world. It has more locks than the Bank of England and more cameras than a paparazzi convention. Not somewhere you can murder someone and vanish without a trace—only that’s what happened. The disappearing act, the reports of a blinding flash of light, and memory loss amongst the witnesses all make this a case for Detective Constable Peter Grant and the Special Assessment Unit.

No surprises, only cliches.
Revisado: 04-05-24
Clunky and awkwardly written, this series is allegedly about a rangers apprentice, but one who demonstrates no ranger skills. He consistently drops his bow to fight with a hatchet. He demonstrates a lack of tracking skills. Of course nobody believes him when he warns of invading demons. This happens over and over. The female protagonist, a gifted mage, bosses adults around with little resistance. In fact, any character without a name is invariably a hapless, panicked, coward. Don't worry though, all villains are blatantly obvious, as they are constantly sneering and smirking. No surprises or twists in this cliche filled book series, just odd anachronisms.

Historia
It is the summer of 2013, and Abigail Kamara has been left to her own devices. This might, by those who know her, be considered a mistake. While her cousin, police constable and apprentice wizard Peter Grant, is off in the sticks chasing unicorns, Abigail is chasing her own mystery. Teenagers around Hampstead Heath have been going missing, but before the police can get fully engaged, the teens return home - unharmed but vague about where they've been.

Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Historia
Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, Tara Westover was seventeen the first time she set foot in a classroom. Her family was so isolated from mainstream society that there was no one to ensure the children received an education, and no one to intervene when one of Tara’s older brothers became violent. When another brother got himself into college, Tara decided to try a new kind of life. Her quest for knowledge transformed her, taking her over oceans and across continents, to Harvard and to Cambridge University.

There are dangers and adventures in the graveyard for a boy. But if Bod leaves the graveyard, then he will come under attack from the man Jack - who has already killed Bod's family…

Historia
The world will end on Saturday. Next Saturday. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture. And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.

Not the best. Adolescent obsession with boobies.
Revisado: 10-12-18
Not the best Butcher. Adolescent obsession with boobies, bad jokes and graphic violence make it perfect for teenage boys but not for me. The reader, normally quite good, seems like he's phoning it in. Stilted and lethargic, we can hear him swallowing and masticating. There are many better Dresden audiobooks.
