So Very familiar. I love the references.

It perfectly fit in with the existing story. More so than Snakes and Songbirds. There was never a single boring passage. Haymich was always one of my favorites.

Historia
Talia could scarcely believe that she had finally earned the rank of full Herald. Though this seemed like the fulfillment of all her dreams, it also meant she would face trials far greater than those she had previously survived. For now, Talia must ride forth to patrol the kingdom of Valdemar, dispensing Herald's justice throughout the land. But in this realm beset by dangerous unrest, enforcing her rulings will require all the courage and skill Talia could command - for if she misuses her own special powers, both she and Valdemar will pay the price.

Most natural Narrator I’ve ever heard.
Revisado: 11-12-22
One of the best narrators I’ve heard yet. I really enjoy the natural laughter that this narrator employs. Perhaps it’s because that’s my strongest point as a Narrator and Director as well. But she is a lot better than me and makes me laugh along with her every time. A natural giggle can go along way.

The drive-in is shutting down, but we’re not shutting up on the latest episode of Riverdale After Dark. Pete fans out over Jughead, Alex has a theory about the show’s big murder, and Justin has some info about movie snacks. NOTE: We recorded in three different places, hence the weird echo. Revisado: 06-23-22
SPOILER
The Southside Serpents are the remnants of the tribe of the Ukena Native American tribe. They got pushed out by General Pickens and the Blossoms. My mother was a Cherokee and I was adopted into the Appalachian tribe. And strangely enough I have a pet Uktena snake in my backyard who is very friendly.

at the Mayo Clinic Because I am actually venomous.
Revisado: 06-23-22
Through a long almost two-year illness where my jaw was crushed through a dental mistake,
then necrotic, and then finally septic. After being in a coma I woke up with my chemistry completely wrong and I lost all of my teeth and I’m quite young. Turns out my kidneys failed in a way that turned my blood toxic. Like Veronica I am able to filter it out but if I spit at you, you would blister. The Mayo Clinic has discovered that the situation actually does exist. My dentist who is reconstructing my mouth keeps having to change his gloves. And I can actually spit very far from underneath my tongue, I think that’s called gleeping. My disease is called CSS but it’s more complicated than that. This also happened in 2020 concurrently after three bouts of Covid, all three strains. At first I was paralyzed from the neck down for six months but with a lot of physical therapy I now walk with a cane, sometimes a wheelchair, and sometimes all by myself, and when I can, I can still dance for exercise, Since I used to be a dancer. It all depends. The Mayo Clinic loves me because I’m so strange. Just don’t kiss me.
With Love, Ms.T.Ree (say the name, which are my initials, out loud). I completely swear that every single word that I have told you is true and I have documentation to back it up.
I would love to add a picture but I don’t know how.

Disappointed
Revisado: 03-06-20
For the first time I have to say that the movie Full Circle, or in the United States, The Haunting of Julia, is far better than the book. Sorry Mr. Peter Straub, as I enjoy most of your books, especially your collaborations with Stephen King. Maybe it’s because I saw the movie the day before I started reading the book. But some of the vocabulary is very offputting. And it’s not because I’m not British, because I am, or at least British-American now. Or maybe because I think that Mia Farrow and Tom Conti make the story, as well as Colin‘s music.

What in the world is Misti eating these days? That seems to be all anyone eats in the last seven books! Rich, poor, human, Companion it doesn’t matter. It’s like a joke that has gone on way too long and I find it to be quite lazy. What a bumhug (Eddie and Jake did it better).

The author whose boundless imagination and storytelling powers have redefined the horror genre, from 1974’s Carrie to his new epic Under the Dome, reflects on the very nature of terror—what scares us and why—in films (both cheesy and choice), television and radio, and, of course, the horror novel, past and present.

Revisado: 02-19-19
Why is William Dufris’ delivery come across like a Stand-Up schlock on Siririus XM? We’re talking about classic horror, not Calvin and Hobbs. As an audio producer, I would not have allowed you to make it past the first paragraph of your galley.
