Historia
Once upon a time, in a parallel universe, there existed the continent of Triton.... The land was filled with beauty, but it was also splintered by war. Out of the chaos grew a conspiracy to reawaken the Beast, a fearsome creature who wrought only tragedy and devastation. The only way to stop him was to fulfill an ancient prophecy: Triton’s four strongest warriors must wed its four most powerful witches, binding all nations together and finally bringing peace to the land.

I need more story
Revisado: 02-01-21
I like a good erotic scene as much as the next person, but this was too much. Each time I was drawn in by the story of the rising or the impending conflicts it was interrupted by a sex scenes. After a while I felt like I need to fast forward over the sex scenes to get to the plot.

Historia
Lucy Hutton has always been certain that the nice girl can get the corner office. She's charming and accommodating and prides herself on being loved by everyone at Bexley & Gamin. Everyone except for coldly efficient, impeccably attired, physically intimidating Joshua Templeman. And the feeling is mutual. Trapped in a shared office together 40 (ok, 50 or 60) hours a week, they've become entrenched in an addictive, ridiculous never-ending game of one-upmanship.

Boring!!!
Revisado: 02-24-18
I couldn't get past the narrator's monotonous droning on. At one point when I heard "chapter 2" I exclaimed "that's all" because it felt like I'd been listening to the same thing for far too long. I tried at least three tamest continue reading this book, but the narrator sounds juvenile and bored with telling her own tale.

Awesome story, awesome narration
Revisado: 01-15-18
I didn't want this book to end. Having read the first one, I was skeptical about listening to part two. But the narration was excellent, he brought all of the characters to life and I loved them even more. Gripping story brought to life by great narration.

Historia
Chaol Westfall has always defined himself by his unwavering loyalty, his strength, and his position as the captain of the Guard. But all of that has changed since the glass castle shattered, since his men were slaughtered, since the king of Adarlan spared him from a killing blow, but left his body broken. His only shot at recovery lies with the legendary healers of the Torre Cesme in Antica - the stronghold of the southern continent's mighty empire.

I loved Tower of Dawn and learning about what was happing in other parts of the world. The story was gripping and enjoyable. At points, though, the narrators voice was so monotonous that I tuned out.

Annoying Protagonist
Revisado: 11-04-17
The fact that the Narrator always sounds like she's between crying and hysterics made this book tough for me to deal with at times. The story holds promise, but it was frustrating to have a protagonist so unwilling to act so many times.
