One of Joe's best performances!

Holy crap. I read this first, and then listened to the audiobook because I'll listen to any of Joe's narrations. he hit it out of the ballpark with this one. Super creepy, but it had me smiling and giggling along with him.
The overall novel was a 4/5 for me, but the audio killed it!

One of the best I've ever listened to
Revisado: 11-06-19
Honestly, this book rocked. I was a little hesitant due to the less-than-exciting cover, but all the deep philosophy mixed with some great action really hooked me about an hour in. The narrator does an excellent job as well. Highly recommended!

Not a bad sequel!
Revisado: 10-22-18
Some parts fell a little flat, but overall the book held up quite well. Some very fun combat scenes, needed character development, and fast paced, just like everything I've come to expect from Tony Acree.

Historia
In the near future, the drug cartels of South America establish their own criminal nation, Cordillera, and proceed to flood the world with cocaine and political corruption. America responds by using the new science of nanotechnology to produce microscopic machines - “nanobots” - to eradicate such drugs once and for all. But these tiny devices can also be used to create new kinds of drugs inside a human body - a “pharm” - or to devour it from within.

Solid techno-sci-thriller!

Really liked the concepts and the whole plot, only thing that kinda rubbed me the wrong way was the narrator's pronunciation of "the guy," but I can get over it. Great book all around.
